Kingdom Hearts II Axel: Who Is He?

I am posting this in reply to a thread I saw ealier about Axel being Riku's Nobody. It has been proven that it couldn't be but. Who's Nobody do you think Axel really is? It's a little bit of a hard question really. I was never really able to figure it out. What do you guys think?

 

Well, I'm absolutely certain he isn't Riku's Nobody. I had a theory about him being Reno's (FFVII) Nobody, but that didn't really work either. I think we're just gonna have to cross our fingers and pray that 358/2 Days has some info about him.

 

I say Reno (from ff7) I mean, they have the same voice actor, the same personality, similar hair color. But I know it's not Riku

 

Well defiantly not Riku...lol, looks like saying it should be Reno is gonna be popular, but he does have same hair colour, and weird marks on his face.

Really, if they ever do tell us about Axel's sombody I doubt it will be someone we already know about, so this is a little pointless to guess at random.

But we can hope that 358/2 Days will tell us something.

 

Yeah but for now I'm going with the theory of Axel being Reno's Nobody, no matter how crazy or wrong it may be.

 

Doesn't their "somebodys" have to have the letters in the name with a "X"?

Would it be like Lae or something? >___>

 

um... Maybe Reno's real name was Alex? And they didn't put in an x cuz there was already one there.

 

I am hoping we find out in 358/2 Days about Axel and also the other Nobodies who were not given 'true' names and pasts at all. I'd also like to see more on the top 6 but especially those below that because it would be nice to learn more on them.

As amusing as it would be to have Axel be Reno's Nobody, I don't see that happening. Nomura did say he modeled Axel though off of some of Reno's personality because he likes the character but I don't see it as more than that. I do hope though we get something of info so we can finally learn at least what Axel's real name was! Lea, Ale, Ela ...it just isn't working for me.

 

I don't think Axel has anything to do with his past name - it's something added so that he's not nameless as well. :x Do we even know that he remembers something from the time he used to be a somebody? If you ask me, unless there's some major event in one of the games coming out, I don't think his somebody is supposed to be known to us. At all. It's like he's not importaint at all.. until only after losing his heart.

If I turn out to be right, then that is lame for the plot of KH.

 

You know, maybe Axel isn't a Nobody at all? Maybe he is somebody? I mean think about it, he has a heart (Or So Though) becuase of how he spare's people. Also Axel would say that he would "Miss" Roxas if he left the Orginization.

 

Um... Axel's a nobody. There's no dispute on that.

 

The two things that shot down my Reno=Axel theory:\

1. Reno does not equal Lae, Lea, Ael, Eal, Ela, Ale, etc.

2. Look at the eyes. All the other Nobodies where we've seen their Somebodies have the same color eyes. Axel has emerald green eyes, but Reno has baby blue eyes.

So I think they're brothers. That's my theory right now. :3

 

Ahh maybe not, you never know. Plus Nobodie's don't have feeling's. So why would he have feeling's if he is a Nobody?

 

Even though Axel did not have 'emotions' or his Heart, it can be presumed that Axel, as others in the Org, did remember his past and knew what it was like to have a Heart once. Axel was very empathic and reactive to that around him and that is why I think he attached to Roxas as a friend while disliking the others for being 'fake' about what they were feeling or doing. He even asks Roxas if he feels he has a Heart and he did also make the comment that when around Sora or Roxas he felt as though he had a Heart again. I believe Axel knew he didn't have one but even Xemnas and others said that Axel was seeking his Heart. In earnest, Axel may have been the closest Nobody (that definitely had no Heart) to finding another way to get his Heart back other than Xemnas's big plan. However, I'm pretty certain at this point he had no Heart; just he still had the motivation to not forget how he was when he did have one.

 

Ahh I see, so in other word's, a "Special" Nobody lol.

 

I'm sticking by my theory that they put Reno and Zack Fair in a blender and out came Axel. =P

 

I have a new theory! Maybe someone went to the Axel of there Vehicle and painted it Red and Black. They then used magic to turn the Axel into a Nobody (probably being fan's of the games themselves) then wow.......................... COOL! lol

Ok I know that was probably the most stupiad thing you have ever heard lol. Just an idea, plus Axel is my favorite KH Character so I am not making fun of him lol.

 

What's Reno doing messing with the heartless anyway?

Shouldn't he have more important things to do? >.>

And they thought Genova cells would make them somebodies.
I bet Xemnas is jealous he didn't think of it first.
