Kingdom Hearts II Axel is gay?

Look at it this way:

1] Little kids play Kingdom Hearts. I don't think they'd like guy-on-guy action, if ya know what I mean.

2] Square Enix and Disney would be sued by worried and upset parents and receive bad reputations for there being gayness in a kids game.

3] How can Axel be gay if Roxas was his BEST FRIEND? And yes, the word is underlined for a reason, folks.

4] When Axel said, "He was the only one I really liked" or anything like that, ever thought of the fact that Axel was probably the only one in the organization who believed in friendship? And also, I don't think the other members would have wanted to befriend each other. And remember, Axel was plotting against the organization. For all we know, Roxas was the only one who didn't know the true depths of their plots or what Axel was planning to do. So maybe Axel thought of Roxas as the only "innocent" member and wanted to feel like he had a heart, so he befriended Roxas. Therefore why he said Roxas was the only one he liked in the organization.

I agree that Axel is gay- but he is not.

It depends- in most fanfics that people write, he is, and in some he is not.

I have read so many fanfics and haven't played the game in so long that I have no idea why I agreed to he being gay.

 

I don't really have anything against AkuRoku, 'cause sometimes it can be cute. As long as it doesn't get... inappropriate. But I always thought that Axel thought of Roxas as his little brother or something.

 

Not in the english version.
However, in the Japanese version, he makes some comments that practically scream "I love Roxas"
Then again, i dont have much of a say in it, I'm an AkuRoku fangirl in the OTP!!! kind of way.
As for the argument that they don't have hearts, Roxas may have one, and although Axel doesn't, he can still understand what it's like to love. He clearly shows emotion for Roxas in the added KH2FM scene, even if it IS fake.

 

I always believed they were friends too. Its really irritates me though when Im looking for Axel and find pure Yaoiness. And getm my head bitten off lcause I like Larxel.

 

Axel's not gay and that's the bottom line because NSsora said so!

From my perspective, Axel just truly cared for Roxas. The fact that he, a Nobody, states Roxas made him feel like he had a 'heart' is a BIG form of expressing 'love' and an even bigger meaning for a Nobody (since they don't have hearts). Let's not forget that 'Love' is normally always symbolized by 'the Heart'. Axel just shows us to what point he deeply cared for his friend.

I love my friends but their are different levels of love, their platonic love and the other love I was inquiring if people thought he was gay as in found Roxas attractive and loved in a non-platonic way. Nut I udnerstand what your saying.

But just to note again that the creator of the game itself, Nomura, apparently stated that he wanted to leave everything for fan interpretation, so technically nothing can be labelled 'canon'. In otherwords, if people want to think Axel wants to bone Roxas, let them think that way. :/ It doesn't matter. And the people against that 'gay' notion SHOULDN'T be smashing the heads of those who support it with a correction hammer, just because they think differently/think it's wrong.

I think he is well gay for Roxas. To me, it's like he almost hints at it in the game XD

He creates so much drama just because Roxas leaves the Organization and keeps raggin' on about how he misses him and how he cares about him..

And as for all the people saying he and Roxas have no hearts, therefore they can't love: Just because they don't have hearts, doesn't mean they can't flawk eachother. :3

You know, when people start saying that they'd literally jump into a sea of Darkness, change their form and all the extreme jazz that Riku did for their friend...I have an awfully hard time believing it.

 

Axel isn't gay, Roxas is just his best friend, if that hapened to my bested bud then I would do anything I could to get her back, I would miss her so... thats all he really wants he just wants Roxas to remember.
