Average Teens

Matt looked out the window and saw that it was raining, "hmm.....thats a change of pace...." he said staring out, "dark.....brisk.......watery......my kind of scenery...." he said turning back towards the front of the class.

 

"Yeah, we should probably..." Shou hesitated and sighed at what he was about to say. "We should probably stay close togethor..." He finished as he glanced to the side.

 

Kara glanced at Shou and then nodded. "Yeah, good idea." She walked over to him and took his hand, entwining her fingers with his. "Let's hold hands then!"

 

Shou sighed. "Very well... So... which way do you want to go?"

 

"Let's...try...this way!" Kara exclaimed, as she dashed down the right side of the hallway.

 

"OK ok, this isn't a race you know!" Shou yelled as he was dragged along once again. "Don't forget to keep your eyes out for the office!" He said.

 

"Um...should a sign called 'office' be on it?" Kara asked, as she continued running down the hallway.

 

"I don't know... Maybe. Man... this would be really tough if-" Suddenly the lights shut off without warning. "Nevermind..."

Man, good thing it's not night...

 

Matt looked up, "you gotta be kidding...." he said picking up his stuff and backpack, "I'm not going to go to school if this crap keeps happening....." he said walking out of the class and down the hall.

 

"It's still hard to see anyt- ah!" Kara gasped as she had crahsed into Matt, falling to the floor, although still able to hold onto Shou's hand.

 

*Erin walks around*

 

"You alright?" Shou asked as he helped her up.

 

Matt shook his head, and looked at Kara and Shou, "hmm....sorry about that....." he said continuing to walk.

 

"Wait a second." Shou called out to Matt. "Can you tell us where the office is?" He asked.

 

Taking Shou's hand, Kara stood, smiling at him. "Thanks..." Turning to look at Matt, she asked, "Hey, wait...do you know where the office is? Did we pass it maybe?"

 

Matt stopped and turned around, "I see....you must be new to the campus....the names Matt...." he said blankly, "as for the office....continue to follow this hall until you can take a left and it should be the first door on your left...."

 

"Ok then, let's get going, Kara." Shou said as he started down the hall.

 

Kara nodded. "Okay thanks..." She gave Matt a cheerful smile before turning and dashing after Shou.

 

Shou stopped and waited for Kara to catch up. "The office just ahead, so i don't think it'll be necassary to hold hands andymore." He said.

 

Matt looked at Kara strangely before turning around and walking off, "hmmm she seems a little bit too happy to be at school...." he said shaking his head, "especially on a day like this...."
