    Here's a theory:
    What if Amon is actually a descendant of "Cabbage Guy" from the original Avatar series, and is attempting to abolish bending in order to protect the cabbages of the world! xD

    Wow, only 3 episodes in and this series got very dark. Wonder how this is going to turn out in only 26 episodes

    Well there really is no sufficient evidence to prove that. Plus Amon clearly states the reason why he hates benders.

    Joking around is fine, but just be careful not to spam since this is a post counting section.

    The entirety of LOK is more dark than TLA. But my guess is because it's more geared towards us now since we grew up with the series.

    Holy crap... this series, I was hooked from the beginning of episode 1. It's amazing. O:

    But anyways,
    Did anyone think Amon might be related to Sokka somehow? Or Jet? Just a guess, but it could be possible.

    I don't think there's any way that Sokka could have produced such a debbie downer. Also, it's pretty much canon that Jet died in the original series, so that's a no.

    All I have to say about episode 3: PABU SO CUUUTE.

    Amon still has his eyes and can speak, his face wasn't taken by Koh. I really doubt his story about being a poor farmer and about the spirits. I think we'll find out what's really up with him soon

    Meh it could have a connection as to why Fire Lord Zuko passed the thrown to his daughter. All the previous Fire Lords died in power to my knowledge... Just a random thought.

    I think Amon is the father of Bolin and Mako.

    I mean, Bolin's parents were killed by a Firebender or something, right? What if their father survived, making Amon the dad.

    This happened when Mako was 8, so....it's been a long time. So long that Amon can't even tell that Bolin and Mako are his children? And that whole Im-gonna-take-away-your-bending thing. I know some of you think it's just some advanced chi-blocking technique, but me, I think it's the real deal.




    But yeah Legend of Korra. Episode was alright.

    That doesn't make any sense. Mako is a firebender and Bolin is an earthbender, which means they must have had one parent who was a firebender and one who was an earthbender. Amon is a nonbender.

    But didn't Amon say this happened when he was a boy? And that his father confronted the firebender? Most plausible but unlikely connection would be that he's their brother.
