    I don't know of any people who could bend naturally besides the Avatar. I could be wrong of course, but I can't remember any others who could do it without being taught somehow.

    Sorry mako but they’re already in a commited relationship. >:L Seriously though, I'm unsure of who to ship, lululu.

    Anyway, I really enjoyed episode two. I loved Tenzin and his kids, I find them to so cute. Enjoying Bolin and Mako, also! I like the Fire Ferrets~I thought Bolin was gunna be the simple minded type of guy, I'm glad I was wrong. When Tenzin came to watch Korra play, haha. Dat bending! ;~; Pleased with this episode it added a whole new depth of interest with the pro-bending thing. I love the relationship between Tenzin and Korra, it's kinda like Father and Daughter.

    Looking forward to episode three.

    Makaze and I just finished watching the second episode, and oh my god, it's so awesome.

    When she started doing the airbending moves during the match, I was like holy crap, and was so excited ~

    Dude, I'm going to be so happy if she and Mako like, get into a relationship, this will be one of things when I ship a non-yaoi ship.

    MakoxKorra = new OTP

    Well, I need to make a Mako cosplay. Just a lil gel and my hair's already there.

    ...then I can look for cute Korra cosplayers >.>

    I loved a lot about this episode.
    The modern bending was a nice way of showing how things have matured/improved.
    Watching Korra struggle with bending is always fun. And giving her a cold, quiet love interest is even more interesting.

    Favorite parts;

    I have not been this excited for any series other than Steins;Gate.

    I would like to say that I shipped them from the first time Mako opened his mouth. They are perfect for each other. (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ*:・゚✧

    You are not going with him, by the way. I would just need someone to cosplay... That might be fun, cosplaying... I don't think I could pull off a Mako...

    1. BOLIN AND KORRA DEFINITELY 5EVA!

    2. Erm, Dante Basco isn't voicing Mako, that's David Faustino. But Dante's supposed to have some role in the future. We'll see...

    3.a. I would assume that bending is genetic or something, in a similar fashion to magic in the HP world--magic parents can have magic children, but magical parents can have non-magical children and non-magical parents can have magical children.

    3.b. Nope. One element per person, with the exception of the Avatar.

    3.c. Word of God says that Tenzin's siblings, Kya and Bumi, were non-benders.

    Thats one thing I've always had a problem with Harry Potter. How can genetics denote the ability of producing magic? Its called magic for a reason, but whatevs. I've always viewed bending as a form of super-natural martial arts, which can be taught in the universe, but again, we don't have a clue how it works yet because there's been no explanation.

    Btw, Makorra 6EVER.

    Watching episode 2 now :) Episode 1 was great, but when
    Katara casually mentioned Sokka had died, felt like a punch in the gut D:

    Yeah, I do find it a little sad that most of the original characters are dead, but I think that it's good because of too many of them were still alive, then quite a bit of the original story would be built into this new one, and then they would have to have a structured foundation . . .

    I think that having a slate with small details to work off of from the first series is good, but it's also nice to see that so many new ideas are being introduced into Korra, like sports and people don't actually like bending. I can't wait to see what kind of big conflict this one is going to lead into.

    So exciting ~

    I'm personally enjoying the series so far. A lot more than I realised I would.
    I really did enjoy the original Avatar, and I'm loving Korra's attitude and the overall new feel to the anime.
    I really do like how it has been done. I mean, it feels new, but its still maintained its original feeling too.

    I'm also a fan of this Mako x Korra shipping. I loved the Katara and Aang ship in the last one so yeah.

    I miss Sokka heavily though. He was just amazing, and I do hope Toph is still perhaps alive too. We know her daughter is here, but this doesn't mean that she herself is dead.
    And this leads onto another interesting thought. Did Sokka ever have children? I can't wait to find out.

    Finally... we can be sure that Korra will at some point go into the Avatar state... I wonder how that'll look. XD
    (I want her to talk to Aang too -since she obviously will be able to talk to the previous Avatars- Something tells me that is just gonna be epic)

    Actually, I think we can assume Katara is the only one left from the original series, since she herself said in the first episode
    "My brother is gone, and all of my friends as well." Don't forget she put emphasis on that "all".

    You make a fair point actually.
    I forgot about the 'all of my friends part'. I purely remembered the brother thing. :/

    So yeah... Guess Katara is the only one left from the original series. Fair enough.
    It's sad, but yeah.

    Guys, she says "Many of my friends," Watch it again if you don't believe me.

    I'm pretty sure Zuko will still be alive. Sozin lived to be 102 because he was exposed to Sozin's comet, so was Zuko. Really, really hoping for Toph as well, but that one I doubt.

    I love Korra so much. Me and my friends came close to manly tears when we heard that Aang and Katara named two kids Kya and Bumi. I hope we get to meet them!

    This man is right. Zuko is alive because of the statue description in the online walkthrough thing on Nick! :D

    ALSO THAT EPISODE HOLY HEFSGFSSEFHBJHFDBF

    Jesus, it was so dark

    How dd Amon even learn Energybending

    Also, calling Korra's first adventure into the Spirit World and meeting Aang being after her bending gets taken by Amon

    anyway THIS SERIES IS SO GOOD

    The entire atmosphere just changed in this episode, the backstories are excellent, and that music

    I have not felt this way about a cartoon in years. Mike and Brian are amazing ;w;
