She is most definately Azula re-incarnated.

I'm also really curious as to how the book structure si gonna work. If book 1 is air, and Korra's alreayd mastered the other elements ... are there new elements she'll have to learn? I don't thik there's be a hwole thign on metalbending, Bloodbending or Lightninbending since those are just subsets or Earth, Water and Fire ... hmmm ... there's also the Energybending thign Aang learned at the end of Souzin's Comet but I don't think that'll be explored either.

Korra is hot. There I said it >.> and awww Aang and Katara named one of their kids Bumi.

I cannot wait to see more. Such good voice acting and music and animation and plot and ALL OF IT I LOVE IT ALL

They'll probably just do the simple thing with saying "Book of Air: Part 1" and "Book of Air: Part 2". Or maybe the second part could be called something like "Second Wind" Eh eh eh?

Such trolling from them! I hope they explain it at some point. Seriously, all they did was make us want it more. >|

Dante Basco (voice of Zuko) said on his tumblr that he really wanted to ask the creators about doing a miniseries about Zuko and his mother the next time they have lunch, so have hope!!

Here is a description of the next episode:

    "A Leaf in the Wind

Korra is living with her airbending teacher Tenzin on Air Temple Island. Frustrated with her inability to master airbending, she turns her attentions to Republic City's famous Pro-bending Arena. There she befriends two brothers, Mako and Bolin, who compete in professional bending matches. Korra is immediately drawn to Pro-bending's dynamic fighting style."

    Ahh, they named a character after Iroh's original VA, Mako Iwamatsu. ;~;

    RIP Mako :/
The brother; Bolin was originally an early draft of Toph, has she been designed as a male.

Its funny how much a simple gender-swap can completely vitalize a character's design. The same thing happened to Fang from Final Fantasy XIII. Was originally going to be a male. I'm thankful both she and Toph ended up as girls though.

Probably means we'll see Mako and Brolin. Can't wait. I love Mako's design from seeing how he looks and reading up his personality.

    New cosplay dream >:C

Holy crap, I completely forgot that me and my friend were thinking about cosplaying Mako and Bolin for Comic Con.

    WE'RE DOING IT.

I hope we'll be able to view it here in the UK. I'll be so sad if they don't...until someone uploads it, at least. xD

    I need more :<

I was surprised how much I liked Bolin. Thought he'd be more of simple-minded bro-character.
Good to see Tenzin staying to watch Korra play in the game. lolz when he cheered

I can't decide if I want to ship Bolin and Korra or Mako and Korra *shot*.

I really enjoyed episode two, it added a whole new depth of interest with the pro-bending thing, and also Bolin and Mako are both great characters, even if we'e not seen much of Mako yet ... I find it hard to believe that it's the same guy who voiced Zuko, they couldn't be more different! I loved Tenzin and his kids, they lit up every scene they were in with a perfectly timed quip, and Tenzin staying to watch Korra was great. When Korra started dodging like an Airbender at the end I was like ;~; because it was just so beautiful.

Somehting I've been wondering, is bending like a genetic thing? If so, could Aang and Katara have had children who could bend both Water and Air? Or is that reserved for the Avatar only?

I believe its stated that only the Avatar can bend more than one element, so genetics have no part in it. Korra isn't related to Aang at all, nor was Aang related to Roku.

And it'll definitely be Makorra. Wish we could see more of his personality (or...lack thereof?)

I think bending in general is a genetic thing as it runs in families and after the air benders were wiped out no more would randomly appear except from Aang's children. The avatar thing however I think is unrelated to genetics, it's more a spiritual thing. I'm not sure. I don't know how it would work with kids with parents who bend different things as to if they can bend multiple elements or not.

I don't think its genetic, but rather, a discipline, but its still unclear on how its passed along, as there isn't any concrete info on the subject.

Katara could waterbend while Sokka couldn't. Katara learned it herself, while Sokka instead learned more traditional combat skills. It seems to reflect on the characters themselves.

In the case of the Airbenders, there were none around anymore to teach the art, or if the genetics thing is the case, you're right with no descendants with the ability.

With the parents who can bend different things, Mako and Bolin's parents came from the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom, so they each could respectively Firebend and Earthbend.

Hopefully they'll reveal more on how bending is distributed; genetically, or disciplinary.

But yeah, the Avatar is completely unrelated to genetics. Like I said, Korra isn't related to Aang, nor Aang to Roku.

Yeah, I took the Katara and Sokka thing to follow with it being genetics as even though you've got the genes for something in your family doesn't nessesarily mean you will get it. Take for example if you've got several people with ginger hair in the family, one parent might have it the other might not, this may mean some of the children might be ginger others might not. In the same way, Katara and Sokka's mum was a water bender but their dad wasn't, so they had the potential to be either.

However I never considered how it could be disipliniary, you might be right, though to me that doesn't explain how some people could bend naturally and others couldn't.
