Bushido could you update the front page with info you've found and posted seperately because i looked at some posts and an confused because none of it was at the start XD Still i like the idea of another Avatar but do you think it will improve the series itself or will it deminish it?

 

Well there were tons of Avatars before Aang and it should have been a given that there'd be more after him.

Unless you mean diminish the image of Aang as the Avatar. he'll always be the face of The Last Airbender, imo.

So ATLOK is only going to be 12 episodes? =( That's a bit disappointing. But I'm still really glad that they're doing any more with Avatar at all. (Esp after that movie...) I also hope that they'll air it on the regular Nick so that everyone can watch it (some people don't have the money to have a whole bunch of different TV chanels).
Now that I think about it, Meelo could be Tenzin's kid. It's plausible.

 

This sounds amazing and I can't wait. Meelo could also possibly be a descendant of Sokka's. His grin sort of reminds me of him. Also, I think Korra's hair looks more like Azula's albeit less, uh, regal.

The new animation looked a bit strange to me the first time I watched it, but I've gotten used to it. I'm curious about, as Fayt had put it yesterday over MSN, the "pokemon battle arena". If anything, it could be a training facility of sorts?

But yea, do want to see so much. ;~;

 

Aang statue. That made me so happy...

I normally love old traditional stuff mixed with a modern theme but I do not know how to feel about this... I am sure it will be awesome nonetheless. And I agree on the terms of animation. But omg... Do want.​

 

Considering how much I've heard about The Hunger Games the basic ideas and imagery that come to mind for it match with this show in my mind. Perhaps it's the same. All Benders are forced to fight each other in tournaments or something hence the Pokemon League renting one of the stadiums.

And this looks pretty good for a miniseries. And the city looks a lot more modern compared to 70 years ago. That's quite a bit of improvement

 

He says "the avatar" or "that's the avatar." Apparently the video was sped up or something.​

 

ok, because I kept playing it and couldn't tell what the heck he was saying. Still, they're putting all this info out half a year before they might even play it. Isn't that a bit early?

 

Comic-Con continues to impress this year, wish I could be there. Anyways saw this yesterday as well, not sure what to make of it yet but definitely looks action-packed. Curious how the story goes with this new series, will for sure follow it as I did with the original.

 

does it count as cheating if I looked up the basic plot of the story already?

 

I am so fansquealing right now, everything looks amazing. The art is beautiful. I can't wait!

And for those wondering about the Pokemon Arena, it's called "Professional Bending", where 3 benders of 3 different disciplines fight against a different 3.

So, exciting info:

There will be METALBENDING COPS, led by Toph's daughter (no word on the father but it's totally going to be Sokka), Korra's spirit animal is Naga the Polar Bear Wolf, her Gaang (or "Krew", as we're calling it) will consist of 2 brothers, one firebender and one Earthbender, Aang found more Sky Bison after the war, there's a new species of Momo-like Lemurs, Aang had 3 kids but only one airbender, Tenzin, who has 3 Airbender kids.

 

It's actually pretty normal. It's just that the creators love torturing us until we crawl into the corners of the world where we lay there in the dark until it is released...

On a serious note though, I am still sad to see the old gaang gone. At least this seems totally epic still.​

 

so, the family tree really spread out huh? Do you think they'll being in Aang a few episodes kinda like they did with Roku in the original series?
