That last episode was so good! Incredible!

Though I wasn't so sure about the older voices for some of the old gaang. Toph was pretty much spot on, but Aang and Sokka were a little meh :S I think they could have just stuck with Sokka's original VA, I mean he was pretty much a grown up anyway, his voice wouldn't have changed that much.

Another thing, I hope this isn't the end of the whole bloodbending without a full moon thing. If that's it for the arc now it would be such a shame because I think that plot point has so much potential I would love to have more episodes on it. That aside it was epic, and hilarious and just...whoah! And Bolin I can't believe you told Asami! I'm a little sad Bolin sid he was over the whole Korra/Mako kiss because much as I love Makorra, and obvious as it is it will become cannon, I just love Bolin and want him and Korra to get together :3

EDIT: I forgot to mention, was that Zuko in the council meeting in Aangs vision? It looked like him on the far left of the high table, I even thought he had his scar, but the image was so blurred and grainy on the version I watched, I couldn't be sure. Anyone who watched it on TV, can you verify?

I was actually really impressed with the Gaang's adult voices. I think they all fit very well with their younger selves..

    Pretty much all of this.

It was really great to hear the gaang's older voices and such. It fits them perfectly, I love it! Especially Councilman Sokka.

And that part where Amon overcomes Tarrlok. "I am the solution." That voice and the chills, man. (I'm feeling some Amon love yo.)

I'd say this episode is a redemption. Shame the finale will be on the 23rd, but at least that's not the end of LOK.

The more I think about this episode, the less I like it as compared to Ep. 8

it was not zuko, sadly. Although his daughter is the current firelord. But it wasn't him in the episode. =[ too bad though.

I think my main tiff of the series so far is the rush of everything. Standing alone, each episode is fine, but when put together, a lot of things just seem to be glanced over (Bolin/Mako/ASAMI characterization), and I'm also kind of disappointed in how the Bloodbending WHENEVER WHEREVER was just chalked up as "lol dis bytch a freak".

It's very likely due to the fact Nick only allowed for 12 episodes and Bryke needs to move the plot along, but characterization is suffering from it -- especially in regards to MaBoSami.

okay, I LOVE these new episodes, TLoK and TLoA are different, i cant chose a favorite, they are both incredible, okay, tarlock is a D!ck im glad he had his bending taken away, nice to see korra back, she pulled a smart move, in getting out of the container, i feel sad for mako's GF (still cant memorize her name), honestly i tought that Tarlock was Amon, ohh well, but i have a theory of who amon is, remember when aang died and was brought to life by Katara in Ba-sing-se, well when he died, the Avatar cycle carried on, so Amon, has been lying about his background and is actually some type of avatar, It was awesome seeing Team Avatar Grown up, i hope we see more of them, seeing Cute/Hot Katara OLD made me depressed, but, ohh well, i also died when i heard that Sokka is dead, toph looks good, Mako has his girl, BoRaa FTW! still waiting that new episode 10-11, bear with my bad grammar, i dont have the patience for Spell Checking Now.

PS: dont forget to read "Avatar: The Promise Parts 1,2 & 3"(3 not out yet), this Graphic Novel Trillogy is the conection between the end of TLoA and the start of TLoK.

You know, that is actually a very interesting theory. I wonder how long an Avatar has to be dead for to be reincarnated? But let's see, if TLA was set 70 years ago, and Aang was 12, that would make Amon 58 right? I would have thought he was younger than that, maybe 30-40's. Also, Mako's girlfriend is called Asami.

When an avatra dies, the next one is reincarnated immediately, and the 2nd avatar could just have inherited his Power to take away bending to Amon, or it could be Amon, Asami, got it, Still i cant waith watching 1 episode per week is sooooooooooo much torture.

Actually, thinking more about it, the Avatar cycle stops if you are killed in the Avatar state, which Aang was when he was 'killed' meaning he wouldn't have been reincarnated anyway.

Fair point, but he wasn't killed per se. He was fatally wounded, but Katara was able to save him before he died. Therefore, the Avatar cycle could continue on.

lol, I'm just posting now because I've finally caught up with the series after so many weeks of being a terrible person and ignoring it. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's episode.

Haha me too! Tomorrow cannot come quickly enough.

But then I am pretty certain he was dead. When he woke up on Appa's back, and he says something like 'But it was more than that wasn't it? I was gone and you brought me back Katara'. I'll try and find the actual quote, and although he didn't use the word 'dead' (as they tend not to do in Kid's shows haha) it was fairly heavily implied.

EDIT: Found it! This is the conversation:

Aang: I went down. I didn't just get hurt did I? It was worse than that, I was gone. But you brought me back.
Katara: I just used the spirit water from the North Pole, I don't know what I did exactly.
    Aang: You saved me.

And it's all very sweet and cute :3

Ah, I see. Still, the fact that Katara used the spirit water from the North Pole is very important, as that had the power to bring him back from the Spirit World and save him. Also, since she brought him back, she pretty much saved the Avatar cycle along with him.

    I couldn't agree more.
Absolutely nothing matters. Not the newborn baby, not Asami being jelly, not the fact that Amon is taking over republic city, no. Lin's sacrifice was just... I'm still shaking. She knew what she was up against, and still she did it for the safety of Tenzin's family. I will forever respect her.

    @Phoenix

But, he was not Exactly dead, if you, put the Spirit water on a corpse, it would probably do nothing, and even if we could be 101% sure he was in fact DEAD, he was dead for moments only, his spirit probably, did not leave, and then katara brought him back.

@Plums, OMFG! thats my new sig! Lin! Lin! an epic Woman! what else would you expect from toph's daughter anyway?

I didn't really cry....my eyes got teary though. Not because she would lose her bending or w/e, but because of how heroic and deep that **** was. "That woman is my hero". ****, you said it annoying little monster boy.

It sort of bothers me how quick the story is progressing. I mean, already Lin loses her bending and the city falls to Amon? I hope Korra won't learn to air bend in just 1 day.

Also, ****ing General Airo in da his HOUSEEEEE. Im glad we have Zuko's voice actor back.

    Oh god. This whole episode.

Tenzin's children are amazing, Roman is adorable, all of the tears shed themselves for Lin Bei Fong (as they fucking should; fuck Amon bby, you were just so goddamn beautiful ; ;) and General Iroh was just a sweet treat.
Who else believes this is Zuko's grandson who was named after good 'ol Iroh? And am I the only person who recognized his voice as Zuko's? OMFG!
