I mean, it makes them more interesting characters, but I still hated them all the same, which means the writers are good at writing different kinds of characters.

I absolutely love seeing Tenzin getting hyped for the Pro-Bending games and getting pissed at the referees too

This series keeps improving and improving.

I LOVED the shadow of the Equalists just hanging over the match like that, like something just out of the corener of your eye. I get the feeling we're gonna get a flashback episode in the Spirit World where Aang's gonna speak to Korra about the visions she's been having whenever she's Chi-blocked, but I think it'll be later in the series.

Lynn has FINALLY done something and she is AMAZING. I love her Metalbending skills she's just brilliant. And the way she gave up chasing Amon to save Korra and the way they worked together to fight the Chi-blockers was really well done.

I wonder what happened to Asami and Hiroshi when the Chi-blockers attacked. Looks like my theory of the equalists being in cahoots with the Future Industry is coming to fruition, I mean how else would they get such advanced technology?

Pabu and Bolin were awesome as always.

I really loved the dynamic between Tenzin and Lynn, just uuuuugh SO GOOD!! and Tenzin getting mad at the games was brilliant. It looks like he's got a bit of Aang's caprice and Katara's moodiness sometimes just ...

    I NEED MORE!!!!!!!

    This episode was so good

Just...so many things that were perfect, and YES, I knew that Tenzin and Lin had some sort of romantic past haha! And its really needed to note that she had a good relationship with his dad Aang. AND THEN THE WHOLE MATCH I WAS SO UPSET AT THE REF GOD. I really dislike the Wolf Bats, and then the whole fight scene with Korra, Lin and the Chi-Blockers was damn amazing.

I really can't wait till the next episode

I'm watching the Last airbender to see me through between episodes, and found this gem. In 'The fortune teller' You hear Katara being told 'Then after the birth of your third great-grandchild you will die peacefully in your sleep' Looks like Katara has a while left to go :) And there are wolfbats in 'The cave of the Two Lovers', I had completely forgotten all about them.

    Episode 6
was fantastic though. The pro bending, the fight scene, Lin doing metal bending, all amazing. I'm really hoping at some point soon though, we get to see Tenzin in action doing some kick-ass airbending. And I can practically see the Tenzin/Lin Bei-Fong fan art already.

This is a spoiler for the episode that is airing today, right now for me. So if you haven't seen it, and don't want to be spoiled right now, wait till you see it.

So there is apparently some badass firebender in this time period. How many people have been killed by a mysterious "firebender". Do you guys think it's one guy, or this "agi-ki clan of firebenders?

OH MY GOD LIN LET ME MARRY YOU

This episode felt really fast paced, but was so good.

I am glad Asami chose the KORRALE, but as Wolfie said while we were talking, she may just be doing it as a ruse and then mess up everyone by betraying them after learning their secrets.

And Cabbage Corp and Bioshock and oirfhiedhjrmg

Also, posted this theory about Amon's energybending thing on Tumblr (and my prediction about how the season will end, since only five episodes left).

I laughed so hard when the guy went "NOOO, my Cabbage Corp" Priceless.

And if that's true plums, then we could be seeing the new azula(asami) of the show. Which I could see happening. She did say that her father made her take fighting classes since she was a kid. That could be chi blocking fighting style that she could know and be a spy on the avatar till the end. If wolfie theory is right.

And Lin was boss. I didn't expect to her to do toph's special technique with earth seeing. And Tenzin can fight man, I didn't think he could, but damn he held his own for a good while.

    CALLED IT
    I CALLED IT
I KNEW THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN
    CLAW'S PLOT VISION STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!!

    Anyways ...

This series just keeps getting better and better. "NO NOT MY CABBAGE CORP" sodifuh\iodfuhzidufb. Also, Asami's a badass but I can't quite tell if she's good or not yet ... I think it might be one to many twists for a kid's show.

I kinda agree with that theory pluns, I think it's certainly plausible.

The mechs are made of Platinum so there's no earth in them I guess?

ALSO LIN CAN USE TOPH VISION I SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE'

I'll be more coherent later I just ...

What is ya'lls opinion on this firebender thing. Mako and Bolin, Asami's Mother, Amon's parents. All killed by a "mysterious" Firebender. Do you guys think this has any connections to who Amon is? Or could it be leading up to a more evil person/plot than what we can think of? I think Amon could tarlock(sp). I just have this weird feeling that he is involved some how. Your thoughts?

I think that that firebender is who Yakone was.

ALSO - prediction: Book 2 - Spirit. The Pentacle in Pagan mythology symbolises earth, air, fire and water, covered by spirit. Korra has to learn the spiritual side of bending. Maybe Tenzin'll get blocked by Amon and then Korra will have no choice but to learn from Aang ... I dunno ...

Also, I don't think Tarlok is Amon ... Amon's a non-beder as far as we know ... and Tarlok is a water bender from the northern tribe.

I would be really sad if Tenzin got his chakra blocked. If that does happen, then I could see korra learning from aang, and then returning everybody's bending back.

And as for Tarlok, I don't know, he just rubs me as the "I'm a secret bad guy and ya'll don't know it yet." He seems like he has motives that aren't just about stopping Amon if he isn't Amon. I don't know. Still so many mysterious and only 5 episodes remaining. And I predict when korra finally gets into with her spirit stuff, were gonna see platinum bending!

And if Tarlok isn't Amon, then Amon must be........................................WANG FIRE!!!!! 0_o

Yes! Finally got to see Tenzin in action :D This was really a great episode, so fast paced. And the return of Cabbage Man!!But then Y U NO give us a shirtless scene when they were in the swimming pool? They had those weird bathing leotards on instead! They were certainly happy enough to give Zuko plenty in the last series.
And I reckon Asami is definitely up to something. They'll have her go all evil and pave the way for Mako and Korra to get together in the end.

"Do you your Dad knows about this tunnel?"

Oh, Bolin. So cute. This episode felt, like Plums said, fast paced. I enjoyed it nonetheless. Hiroshi… I feel so bad for you. My heart.

ALSO. "Not even your renowned mother can bend a metal so pure!" He said can? Not in the past tense, could. CAN TOPH BE ALIVE?!

So I just watched episode 6 and it was a bit disappointing to see the Fire Ferrets lose the tournament but I'm still wondering who that old man was in Korra's flashback.

Oh and I kinda like Amon. He's not your typical bad guy and I kinda feel why he's doing what he's doing. He's just trying to make the world an easier place to live in for non-benders. Anyone else agree?

I don't know though, why would they set up the whole mask thing? It's just begging to lead up to a big reveal. I can imagine now exactly how they will do it. Amon will be standing back to the wall, facing the three Fire Ferrets posed in fighting stance. He will slowly reach up to remove the mask. Before we see his face it will cut to a shot from Amon's point of view, with the mask coming off and seeing Korra, Bolin and Mako, their expressions changing from anger to recognition and shock. Korra will say 'It's...it's you!' and it will cut to Amons face saying, 'Yes it is me, MWAHAHAHA'

Then ADVERT BREAK. It can't not happen.

As Tv tropes would say, villains got a point. I mean we have enough of a problem with muggers and stuff in our world. Imagine if we had people who could spontaneously create an inferno from their hands. They're pretty much walking weapons of mass destruction. Saying that though, their society seems to need benders. Fire benders weld and are integral to manufacturing. Lightning benders are the ones who generate the electricity supply for everyone. They don't know how to live in a society without them. And in all likelihood they needed benders to be able to produce the anti bending equipment like those fancy gloves at some point or other.

Oh, and HGLJKFFJLGHJKHJKLDHJKLAKJHLH LIN YOU ARE TOO AMAZING.

Ever since I saw Sato in his first showing I knew there was something wrong. And when he said that with a little help from a sponsor I knew there was something wrong.

    Not my cabbages!

Somewhat predictable plot-twist I think, but still a solid episode. Loved seeing Lin use Wolverine-style metal-bending.

Shame we never got to see Korra in a bikini...
