I'm certainly wary of Asami, she seemed to cling to Mako a few smidgets too fast and too strongly. But.... her and her father seem nice enough? And I doubt she was able to plan to almost run Mako over with a moped. Then again, Hiroshi seemed to have a connection with Tarrlock, so.... idk. <.< >.>

The Korra and Tenzin moment at the end. ;~; I got a little misty-eyed.

I just don't trust Tarlokk. He seems a bit... strange. Really was too pushy. I was surprised that Tenzin allowed him to force her on there, too. I forgot about the avatar state, I really wanna see her in it now. XD

Oh, sorry! I'll go back and look at it.

It kind of urked me because Mako is suddenly nice to a girl who's a bit pretty, I guess. He wasn't nice to Korra at all at first. Seems a bit jerkish to me, but I don't know.

 

I will hate them if they make Mako get with Asami, after already teasing us with Zuko and Katara (though I totally prefer Zuko with Mai and Aang with Katara)

Or maybe...Korra x Asami....yessssssss

That episode was so dark omg.

I think that we'll be getting a chat with Aang very soon ... he was eluded to a lot in this episode.

In addition, can anyone tell me anything about that guy that Tarlock mentioned in the Council Meeting? Is that in the "Welcome to Republic City" game? I can't play it because I'm in the UK.

I am hoping June doesn't have any relations though. I don't want all of the old characters be milked. She could just be a random new girl.

Tenzen understands that he really has no say on counteraction someone of equal status. It would look bad on the public eye for him to intervene.

We all know Mako and Asami won't work. I choose not to believe it. Mako just is blind to the love he has for Korra. He's a bit harder to break.

 

Waited for it to come out on the 28th, eheheh.

Who saw the page on the Satomobile? There was a section in the bottom about the Cabbage Car, made by Cabbage Corp. XD If in one of her fights to come Korra topples one and someone says "MY CABBAGE CAR!", I will LAUGH.

 

that would be hilarious! I already miss the cabbage man. He was like my favorite non-main character.

it should totally have been ZUKO x KATARA. aang is stupid. Though I did like mai. Now my heart is torn between Mako and Bolin. Mako is like zuko/jecht and bolin is just like sokka.

 

I wonder if Sokka had kids and if so will they make an apearance, and Zuko and Mai made an awesome couple i think the whole depressed emo thing worked for them.

 

Anyone watch "The Spirit of Competition" yet?

The episode felt like a soap opera with all the romantic issues between Korra, Mako, and Bolin. I felt really bad for Bolin, trying so hard to make Korra happy, but then Mako and Korra finally say they like each other when Mako's dating Asami and then AAHSASDHFASFASVA.

These Pro-Bending matches are kickass though. Freaking awesome finish by Korra.

 

Episode 5

ALL THESE FEELS. TOO MANY FEELS. I don't know what to do with them all! Who to ship?? Though I think it's fairly obvious who the cannon pairing will be in the end.
I agree with what some people think, I mean it's only episode 5. But my Goodness I had a huge goofy grin on my face for the whole episode and if that isn't a sign of enjoying a show I don't know what is.

I really liked this episode. There's been so much doom and gloom in this series so far it was nice to just have a little bit of a reprieve from all of the fear about Amon's mechanisations. Bolin is just ... hilarious and a drama queen loke Sokka was, but to be honest I felt legitimately bad for him in that scene (you know the one I'm talking about).

The pro-bending sequences were amazingly well done and so fun to watch.

Anyone else think that The Equalists are going to hijack the final of the tournament? I don't see it going any other way to be honest ...

Anyway that was a bit of a filler, but God that was such a great episode. Korra and Bolin are so great together, I absolutely died when I saw that ship sink. The creators are basically trolling us at this point, and I love it. It's kind of like they're just getting the ships out of the way so they can get to the real show.

 

I missed today's so i will have to watch it later.
Pretty good show though so far, I have no complaints

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the part where Bolin sees Korra kissing Mako! It was hilariously tragic. I really don't know who to ship, either. I guess that Bolin/Korra isn't going to happen, but I don't see Mako/Asami lasting very long, either tbh. I thought Korra was a bit.. out of order, kissing Mako. She must have known that Bolin likes her, and she knows that Mako is with Asami, so yeah. Bitch.

I really liked this episode, but uuguagfurj poor Bolin ;~;

"I told you dating a team mate was a bad idea!"
"You're a bad idea!"

This episode, man. It felt kinda strange to me? Having to agree with Hay on this one, it felt like a soap opera. My gosh, poor, poor Bolin. When he started crying, I just wanted to cuddle him but then that dramatic run away, pfft. I was giggling. Korra was a tad outline kissing Mako like that, though.

I liked this episode but fkjn5h6uj. Bolin! I liked him and Korra together.

I like Bolin, and I love Korra, but...I just don't see them working out honestly. He tries way too hard. Its sweet and all, but she doesn't make an effort at all. Not a recipe for a good relationship if you ask me.

Once Mako dumps Asami (it will happen), everything will be right. And I'm willing to bet Bolin will meet a better girl for her, and Asami will go with a dude who doesn't already like someone else...if those two don't end up dating that is. (Bosami? I can't see it yet)

Its kinda silly to see people complain about episodes like this, when everyone and their mom knew it was going to happen anyway. I'm just glad its done now. Want more plot.

But then, I realised Korra has been in that compound in the water tribe her entire life, with no one, especially lads, her age. She just had some White Lotus members old enough to be her grandparents there for company. So when she gets to republic city and has her first interactions with buys her own age, yeah she's going to act stupid. She's completely clueless about relationships apparently. I think it shows in that she pretty much thinks Mako is her soul mate even though it's the first guy she's ever liked, and he hasn't really shown much of an interest in her up until now, being a downright jerk some of the time.

 

I hate to change the subject. but this has been bothering me for a while since I've been watching this series....

Who do you guys think is Amon?!( I will share my theories later )

 

I really hope he's just an original character to be honest, with no ties to the other already existing cast (though maybe he could be connected to Mako somehow...an uncle? I dunno). I don't want the series to be so dependent on the original series for a plot, if that makes sense?

 

I'm gonna get shot for this..

Is it just me, or is the series putting too much focus on the relationships aspect? It is a fact that the show has a large female fanbase so...
I guess it's way way too early to tell, but I hope they don't make it the priority for the rest of the series. I was hoping for a lot more Avatar related stuff like the philosophical sides of the show and such.
