Fire Lord Ozai​

"Sir, I beg of you! Please!" the man shouted. He raised his chained arms in despair and fell to his knees. "I spoke out of turn, I know. But I have always been faithful to you, my lord! Forgive my mistakes, grace me with your mercy although I do not deserve it, and I shall never disrespect you in such a manner again!"
Ozai glared coldly at the pathetic excuse for a man that kneeled before him. Just a few minutes ago this scoundrel had the nerve to interrupt he, the Firelord, during an important meeting among FNA Generals. Such acts of blatant disrespect towards his highness were punishable by an excruciatingly painful death delivered by Ozai himself.
"Look at you, Garko." he said with a sinister grin. "Stripped of your military attire, chained at your forearms and ankles, begging for mercy. I almost pity you. Almost."
"Pity me then, my lord!"General Garko responded eagerly, jumping at the first sign he received of false hope. "You are most certainly right, after all. I am pitiful! I only ask for your forgiveness, my lord! Please, my lord!"
"You're making quite a habit of talking too much, aren't you General?" the Firelord said behind gritted teeth, arising from his thrown and approaching the man slowly. "You must understand, men like you do not deserve to lead my army. Men like you do not deserve to live!"
The General fell from his knees onto his back and began to crawl away in fear, his eyes wide and forehead moist with sweat. "PLEASE! Ozai, don't end it like this! I am your cousin! Think of my wife! My children! To grow up without a father, what should become of them?!"
"Oh, you can trust me, Garko. I will personally see to it that your family is taken care of."
Then, with a swift thrust of his right arm, Ozai sent a ball of blue flames straight into the General's face. His hair caught on fire, and he began to squirm, screaming at the top of his lungs. Ozai then created a bolt of electricity, grinning from ear-to-ear as he watched it surge through the man's body, making him flop around like a fish out of water. This went on for several minutes until all that was left was a burning corpse laying in the center of the Firelord's throne room.

A tall man in full armor then entered the room. "My lord, shall we have this cleaned up?"
"Yes. Immediately."
"Very well then...oh, sir, we just received word from General Adena. She's reported that her and her crew are currently stationed just outside of Ba Sing Se, and everything is set. All we need is for you to give the order, and we can initiate the mission."
Firelord Ozai settled back into his rightful place on the throne. The soldier could only see his silhouette in front of a wall of flames, but could feel his intimidating stare.
"Do it."

 

A large man clad in a fire nation uniform entered the tent carrying a slip of paper. "General, a letter from the firelord." The young woman sitting at a large wooden desk looked up from her maps and waved the man in. She took the slip from his hand and read the paper quickly. A sinister smile spread across her face as she took her eyes off of the letter. She looked up at the soldier grinning.

"It's time. Gather the others." She watched the man leave and changed into an Earth Kingdom robe. She folded up her black cloak and laid it neatly on the bed. She tucked her whip underneath the robe and dawned a hot her her recognizably blonde hair. Walking out of the tent, she met with the others in her attack team. "Men, we have been preparing for this day for months. It's time we finally conquer Ba Sing Se!" There was some loud cheering from around the camp and with a wave of her hand it was silenced. She led the small tactical team into the city disguised as earth benders. They carefully made their way through the streets to the heart of the large city.

 

"Stupid Fire Nation!" A wave of rocks sprung out of the ground and rushed forward, knocking down any trees in its path. Bai inhaled deeply and stomped her foot on the ground, raising her arms up as a boulder separated itself from the ground. Clenching her hand into a fist, the young woman punched forward, sending the boulder in a different direction. Bai's lips pressed together tightly as she slowly stood up straight, turning around to face Ba Sing Se. She was frustrated with the turn of events, and with how things were going with the Fire Nation, it would be only a matter of time before they took over the rest of the world.

Narrowing her eyes, Bai rubbed the back of her neck and headed over to a small camp she had made the night before. She dropped onto the ground, sprawling her arms and legs as she stared up at the trees. "I can't believe I actually want to go home." The sound of her stomach growling caused her to quickly sit up straight and frown. She had no food with her and sneaking into Ba Sing Se was always a pain. However, it was usually worth it. Great. Sighing loudly, Bai quickly rose up to her feet and headed towards the city. She usually had money with her, but this time she ran out with what she had to get the night before. She's not one for hunting, but she is one for gambling. That was the only way she could get money...other than stealing, of course. The only thing she did steal was food, something she was rather good at. She pulled a large coat over herself, a hood practically covering half of her face. "I should just start living in the city if I'm going to mooch off of it."

 

"Ah, Ba Sing Se..." a young man whispered to himself, taking a deep breathe and smiling as he observed the wondrous Earth Kingdom Capital below him. "If I can make it here, I can make it anywhere."
He was perched on the roof of a building in the center of the city, his legs dangling off the edge. In his right hand was a stack of fliers, each reading:

ATTENTION!
We are a strong people.
We shall not be oppressed.
We will not be controlled.
We shall rise above.
We shall conquer.
WE are the RESISTANCE!
And WE want YOU to FIGHT BACK!​

Below the message was a hand-drawn Fire Nation symbol, cracking down the middle.
The fliers were simple, but they got the point across. Each was individually hand-made by the same young man who now prepared to "deliver" them. His name was Draco, and he was sitting on a roof waiting for the right gust of wind. It didn't come for a while but that didn't bother him. He enjoyed the sight-seeing anyway, as it gave him some time to think and reflect.
Suddenly, he felt some strong wind pushing at his back, held the fliers up as high as he could, and released them. Draco then cheered and clapped, watching the fliers soar off into different directions, then slowly sink into the streets of Ba Sing Se. Before anyone could notice where the fliers were coming from, he ran and went back into the streets, acting as though he were a regular citizen, just as perplexed by the mysterious fliers as anyone else.
Soon... he thought, hopefully. I'll be part of a team. Then I can finally fight back...

 

Rolan was at one of the several bars that he went to. He sat in one of the back corners with him in his chair leaned back up against one of the walls. He had a half full mug of some alcohol and five other empty mugs. He was passed out in his sleep, when he started to have a nightmare, he started to move in his sleep, which caused the chair to become unrested from it's leaning position, and he went forward, face first into the table, which cause him to awake startled, he jumped backwards, tripping over the chair and smacking his head on the wall, where he just slid down to the floor. Everybody in the bar stopped what they were doing, and just stared silently at him. Then the bartender walked over to him.

"Son, I think you have had enough for today....why don't you go home. I will have someone help you home..."

"NO!" Rolan shouted. None of the patrons, or the bartender knew that he was homeless, so every time that someone offered to take him home, he refused them. "I me-....an....no...I...can....walk.....by myself. I...don't...need..your help.....hiccup, I don't need any-hiccupbody's help.He surprisingly managed to make it to his feet, and with the walls help, walk outside and he just stated off down the street, looking for a place to sleep.

 

Adena looked up and snatched a flier out of the air. Reading the advertisement about a so called resistance she let out a laugh. She burned the crumpled paper to ash before anyone could see her fire bending. What a joke. No amount of resistance shall defeat father. The fire nation shall prevail no matter what! Her eyes mimicked her wicked and sinister thoughts. As they entered the heart of the city, she made eye contact with her men. She gestured for them to spread out. They had practiced their formation dozens of times and had the routine down to a tee. Her platinum blonde hair slipped out from under her hat. Adena stopped to tuck her hair back up under the cap. Everyone knew her for her bizarely light colored hair. It wasn't too often that she met anyone with blonde hair.

Adena caught the sight of a few earth benders and waved politely at them. She masked the fire in her red eyes well. Even though she was the princess of the fire nation, she was usually well at hiding it. Dressing up in a variety of different disguises had recently become a new passion of hers. Adena leaned her back casually against a a building made out of rock. She found the Earth Kingdom rather trivial in their form of housing and architectural developement. Everything was made out of earth. The fire nation was more modern and everything was made out of wood and metal.

Adena waited patiently for the opportune time to strike. She stood there checking her nails and frowned. Ick. I could use a new manicure. Living away from the palace has been torture on my cuticles. I can't wait to go back. We just have to make it through the day. No biggie. She shrugged and then looked around, scoping out the square.

 

Liao Pei saw some papers floating through the air and walk up to one that just landed on the ground and picked it up. She read it and her eyes widden, the resistance, she has been looking for. She walked around trying to find the person hanging out fliers, so she walked around with her polar bear dog, Mi Mo. She passed a woman who waved at some earth benders and thought "Maybe they might know where the resistance is being held." She walked up to the earth benders ask them...

"Hey do you guys know where the resistance is being held?"

She smiled hoping that they could give a straight answer.

 

Aria walked through confidently, with slow strides as she looked around her taking in everything she could about her new surroundings. She knew the city would be big but nothing had prepared her for it, it was just so different from her little Kyoshi Island. She'd travelled a long way to get here and she'd trained hard. She wouldn't allow herself to be intimidated by the simple size of the city. However she still had no idea how to find the resistance, understandbly they wouldn't just go out advertising themselves so she needed to somehow find them.

As she was thinking about that, a piece of paper floated down in front of her and her reflexes took over grabbing it out of the air before she knew what she was doing. A little confused, she examined it and was incredibly suprised by what she saw. It appeared she was wrong, the resistance would advertise themselves. A grin spread across her face as she read it, this was what she was here to find, what a stroke of luck. However as she finished reading it, her smile faultered, it didn't say on it how to contact them or get involved. That was typical. She looked up and attempted to figure out where the flier had come from without success. She'd decided to take off her make up and warrior uniform before entering the city, as she didn't want to draw attention to herself though she'd kept her fans hidden but close to hand. However, right now, the attention she would've got might not be such a bad thing as at least it would probably mean she found the resistance faster. Shaking her head, she gripped the flier in her hand and looked around to work out where to go next.

 

Horus' attention was caught by a slight flicker of a piece of paper. Bending down to pick it up, he saw it was about the resistance. He thought about the piece of paper for a brief moment. Could this be how i achieve my vengeance? he wondered. He shook his head. There will be other ways, i am sure he thought. The small piece of paper became engulfed in fire, turning it to ashes in mere seconds at Horus' bending skill. He sat down at the edge of the building he had been resting on, questioning who was forming the resistance, and why.

 

Roku closed his eyes for a moment listing to the sounds of the forest. He needed supplies and the closet city was Ba Sing Se. Roku really had a bad feeling about it being a fire-nation traitor.
"I just need to stay calm" he said out loud, he was dressed in earth kingdom clothes so as long as he didn't fIre-bend no one would know. He looked over to Hotaru his Komodo Rhino."Im heading out buddy" he said "I hope to be back before dark just stay here". Hotaru lifted and eye and then went back to sleep. Alright lets go Roku thought as he headed towards Ba Sing Se.

 

Adena took her eyes off of her nails and let out a laugh. The girl was looking for the resistance. It would become easy for her to learn all their identities if they came walking up like that. She listened intently as the girl spoke to the earth benders. If they had any information on the resistance, it would be better for her to know right away. After they destroy the city, she would destroy the water tribe girl. Anyone that even thinks of opposing the fire nation deserves the ultimate punishment. And Adena fully planned on dishing it out.

 

Draco strolled through the streets, trying to hold in his excitement as the fliers began to catch everyone's attention. Now for the next step in his plan. He figured that if he were to put the address on the advertisement itself, it could get into the wrong hands, so instead he would eye out the area waiting for someone who looked like they would be interested. Just then he noticed two women talking. One of them was curious about when and where the Resistance was going to meet, while the other didn't even seem to be taking it seriously.
"Well actually," Draco chimed in, standing between the two. "I hear a meeting is going to be held on a campsite in the forest on the Southern outskirts of Ba Sing Se!"
He immediately began to blush, realizing that he wasn't coming off as casual as he had planned. Not only that, but the camp he had set up in the forest was far from impressive, to say the least. Plus the fliers were only confusing people. Draco was immediately beginning to regret this ragtag plan of his, wishing he had thought it through better.
"Um...well...y'know...that's what I heard. I could be wrong."

 

Liao didn't get any information for the earth benders, they just shugged at her. She heard a kid, look to be her age say something about it being held outside of town. She turn and asked him..

"Hey, are you sure, I need facts not just rumors, I've been looking for this type of resistance for a while and only heard for rumors."

She stare at the boy, and Mi Mo started growling.

"I need to know for sure, I don't have time to play games!"

 

So this is Ba Sing Se Roku thought. It was to noisy for his taste and there were to many people, but he was able to get cheap supplies at least.
New Fishing rod, food, spare clothers, and hunting gear Roku had almost everything on his list.
Roku stopped when he heard people talking about the resistance.
He looked at the group for a moment " You kids have no chance against the Fire nation" he said to them "Your just looking to get yourselfs hurt".

 

Adena raised an eyebrow curiously at the boy that came up to her. This is almost too easy. Her eyes filled with delight and a small smile formed from her lips. As soon as we destroy the city, we shall take out the camp. If only I could send a message to the soldiers. It would be better if we could take out both positions at once. "As awful as rumors are, at least it gives a place to start. Maybe this resistance is a little more serious than I imagined." She looked between the two of them and then caught sight of a large clock outside of one of the buildings. She frowned seeing what time it was. These two people were holding up her plan. "It sounds like a pretty precise location. You should look into it. If you'll excuse me, I must be going." She pulled away from the wall and walked passed them, heading for the center of the square. She stopped when she heard a familiar voice. Adena spoke without turning to see who the newcomer was. She dodn't want to give herself away. "He's right. You don't stand a chance. Good luck." She kept walking and an evil smile was now on her face. So the traitor shows himself afterall.

 

Draco sighed in frustration, then leaned in and whispered in the girl's ear.
"Look, I don't exactly know what I'm doing, alright? I'm just trying to get the word out. Maybe my plan isn't going as smoothly or clearly as I had intended, but gimme a break here. How 'bout this: you gather up whoever you think might be interested, and meet me at this exact spot at midnight, then-"
Suddenly he was interrupted by some young man claiming the Resistance was futile. He took offense to this and glared at the man angrily.
"Oh yeah?" Draco said, approaching him. "And just who do you think you are to say something like that?"

 

Rolan had been wandering around when it eventually started to rain.......papers. Rolan picked one off that landed on his head, and began to read it. Took him a minute to read it since it was a little blurry due to the drinking he had been doing."Resistance, huh?" Like it will do them any good. Were all destined to serve under the fire nation."He dropped the piece of paper on the ground and continued to stumble down the street. He came upon a stable for Ostrich Horses. He climbed over the fence and fell to the ground landing on his butt. He let a few words slip from his mouth then he saw the water basin for the animals. He crawled over to it and started taking handfuls of water and drinking it. After he was done, he wiped the water from his chin and mouth, and stood up and looked around for the biggest and softest pile of hay to lay down on. He finally found it, and turned around and fell backwards on top of it. He got comfortable and closed his eyes and let himself drift off to sleep.

 

Liao took a step back, raised her eyebrow and pointed at him. She was confused, but it soon shook her to after hearing a kid say the resistance was futile. She took a step toward the kid, and said.

"What would you know old man, united people are stronger, then individuals........."

She look at the leader of the resistance and asked.

"Hey I didn't get your name what was it.... ?"

 

Roku saw the girl walk away and something about her made him uneasy but he dismissed the feeling. " Im no one just a traveler passing by".
He looked at the boy. "You should be more careful" he whispered to him. "The fire nation could be closer then you think not even this city is safe from them". Roku then went on his way.
