Horus sighed. "These immediate departures, they sure cause a lot of stress." he said. He thought for a brief moment. "But sure, why not? I'm in. I'm ready to leave" he finished. He thought about what the island could possibly be like. Would he be forced to fight for food, like he had in the fire nation? He sure hoped not.

He took a few paces towards the exit of the room, to the world outside. This won't be so bad he thought. He stepped outside, still within yelling distance of the others in case he needed them or vice versa. "Watch out Fire Lord, your reign is almost OVER!" he shouted, enthusiastically firing a huge fireball into the air, headed for the water and not the actual village.

OOC: What i'm wondering now, is how the hell Miaulement's character's gonna catch up now.

As Nuo was running, she saw a large fireball pop up out of no where. "What the--?!" She stopped and looked at the place where it had came from, "It must have been the guy who caused all the smoke...!" Nuo couldn't stand people who make others suffer. She wanted to show the people that caused this a piece of her mind. She started running as fast as she could towards where the fireball came from.

"Hmm?" Horus exclaimed, raising an eyebrow as he tried to recognise who was running towards him at quite a fast pace. Do i know this person? Who are they? he wondered. He turned to look over his shoulder behind him at the group. "Do you guys know this person? They seem kinda in a rush" he said. He then looked back at Nuo, watching her as she ran.

    *totally not creepy*

"Oh my god!!" Nuo screamed, she was about to run into a group of people! She stopped quickly in front of a firebender. Nuo smiled sheepishly, "H-Hi... haha..." She started blushing madly, trying to avoid eye contact.

The dusk sky grew darker by the minute as it hung over the great ancient city of Ba Sing Se. The sun had set earlier than usual, which could be perceived as a bad omen in some cultures. But then again, what more pain and misfortune could be brought upon this tired place?

I pray the Princess will be found...at least it would allow these unfortunate people to rest their heads tonight, knowing she was behind bars...
Draco thought as he took a few steps outside.

He expected to see them all scurrying through the streets helplessly, terrified for their lives by the news. It immediately came to his attention, however, that the entire city was intensely quiet. No civilians were anywhere in sight. Rather than desperate men and women, tumbleweeds rolled aimlessly across sidewalks in separate directions. The only noise that could be heard was the distant sound of marching boots.

"The soldiers." he whispered to himself. "They're spreading."

Surely enough at the Northern entrance of Ba Sing Se, large groups of Earth Kingdom guards and warriors were marching out of the city while others stayed behind to search the homes of regular citizens...as if anyone was going to hide Princess Adena in their broom closet.
Within a matter of minutes, Draco knew, dozens of them would be flooding into the outer villages and forests. If this manhunt were to fail, then the Fire Nation will have won the day's battle. Even if they hadn't managed to take the life of the King, they will have managed to take the safety of his people, and replaced it with a permanent fear.

Draco prayed over and over again that the Princess would be captured while he made his way towards the docks, but deep down in his chest he knew just how unlikely that was.

OOC: I'm guessing we're all just gonna magically get through the Ba Sing Se walls when it's in the middle of a lock-down? lol
Was the Lieutenant Chung character just completely pointless? :P
And apparently we all have super-speed, getting across the entire city to the shore of the land xD

OCC Gosh I hop the boat doesn't leave without me. Good thing Hakoda is on the west gate.

Kai heard a loud alarm sounding off. Addie looked over and yelled at him not to follow her. It was for the best he thought. He ran over to Hakoda's camp by the docks. He told Hakoda that the king had no use for him or his brother. He also stated that the alarm was for an escaped prisoner. Kai would never openly admit that it was him though. How could he. His hormones got the best of him. Kai looked over and there was a different boat there. A large vessel. Kai was curious to what it was there for. No one was going to be able to get out of the city from this lock down the guards initiated.

    Fixed it

'Just like that?!' Jian cursed under his breath. There wasn't any time to stand idle and wait for things to settle down. He took in a deep breath and took off after the others, heading for the docks. Underneath the ground Jian's badgermole, Badgy, was following through the tunnels. Badgy had already grown used to the kind of weight Jian put behind each of his steps as well as the natural pace he took. This was how the badgermole could even distinguish between his footsteps and those of everyone else.

OOC: Hey you guys, I don't know if many of you are familiar with the MAP of this world, however, the dock is a LONG WAY from the palace (which is where a majority of us are coming from). Not to mention the fact that our characters still need to get through the Ba Sing Se WALLS. That's not so easy of a task, considering the city (as I said before) is in the middle of a LOCK-DOWN due to a prison escapee.

I don't mean to bother you guys or ask too much of you, but I'm gonna need a few of you to edit your posts. Obviously the trip from the palace to the dock isn't going to take DAYS or even HOURS but it just doesn't make since for you to go from the palace to the dock in one post.

So, those of you who are at the dock or have passed the wall, PLEASE EDIT YOUR POSTS ACCORDINGLY!

    Thanks you guys.

EDIT: And as I've said before, make thorough posts. It kind of upsets me to see posts that are only a sentence or two. Please be descriptive.

Adena scraped up her arms running through the trees. The base camp appeared to be deserted. it appeared that everyone packed up and left in a hurry. The sounds of sirens seemed to have disappeared, which could only mean they had started searching for her. She had only a small window of opportunity to escape. The princess walked into her tent and picked up a bag. she stuffed it full of supplies and walked over to the clean outfit laid out on the bed. Adena took the wig off and changed out of her torn up clothing. She slipped on a knee-length black dress with full sleeves and a pair of black boots. The cloak she had on that morning was sitting in a balled up pile and she unraveled it, fastening it around her neck.

Adena pinned her hair back up, disguising it with the long black wig. She threw the bag over her shoulder and walked out of the tent. The princess knew her Komodo Rhino would be waiting diligently nearby. Calling out to her would be risky, so she started walking over to where she left her.

ooc : alright lets try this again since I already deleted my other post
Roku left the group about 20 minutes ago. Of course he wasn't on foot so he had sometime to prepare.
He quickly bought some extra food from a shop that was still some how opened. He was getting close to the inner wall of the city which was closed due to the lock down.
"Alright How am I going to get past this hi i'm a ex fire bender and your suppose to let me in because i'm going to save the world with a bunch of teenagers."
He looked at Hotaru who seemed to chuckle after hearing his words.
"Thanks for the support buddy if you have any other ideas I love to hear them"
Roku stopped himself he was talking to his komodo rhino ... "well after all that's happen today it's no wonder i'm going nuts."

"Well this really sucks. With all that is going on so suddenly, everybody was in a panic and uproar. He bolted out of the palace in full speed, and instead of heading towards the docks to the west like everybody else, he turned and started earth surfing north, towards the mountains north of Ba Sing Se."I really hope they hold that boat for me, because their is no way I'm leaving Coco behind like this, not knowing if I ever get to see her again. He started to pick up the pace going as fast as he could to get to the wall, where he would just make a door for himself, since he is probably one of the very few in the group that can bend earth here.

Bai covered one ear with her hand, barely being able to hear what the King was telling the group. You've got to be kidding me. She didn't really have many belongings - well, actually, she had none. However, she wanted to rest for a bit. She wasn't technically tired from the fighting earlier, but she wanted to get her mind set on how the Fire Nation invaded Ba Sing Se so quickly. Sighing lowly, she watched the group head off and stayed put for a moment, wondering if she really should join them or not. She wasn't one for groups, and seeing how large the group was, it actually kind of bothered her. However, she knew she couldn't stay in Ba Sing Se. She needed to leave. The woman's lips pressed tightly together as she gave herself one last thought; the next thing she knew, her feet were moving forward towards the group, following after them. The one thing that actually peeked her interest were those scrolls the King spoke of. I wonder if they'll have anything I don't already know.

"Oh hey, you looking for someone?" Horus asked. He turned to look behind himself, realising that everyone was heading off towards the docks, or at least most people were. "I'd love to stay and talk, but i think i'd better go with these guys. Seems important and all" Horus apologized. He slowly walked towards the docks.

After surfing for about 10 minutes, he finally got to the northern wall of Ba Sing Se. He jumped off from the ground and landed right in front of the wall just shy of smacking his face into it. He then jumped and slammed back down onto the ground making a small amount of the ground below him to rise up, like a elevator. He rode it patiently all the way to the top. When he got to the top, he ran towards the other side, past all the guards that were on watch on that part of the wall at the time. He merely waved and smiled at him, before he jumped off the wall, falling to his death.......haha, yeah right. When he was on the last leg of the of the wall before splatting on the ground, he turned around in the air, and started sliding down the wall on his feet, and then he made a fist with his right hand and hit the wall, making a arched slide down on the ground, where he would slide up before he hit the ground, landing safely on it. After he made his perfect 10 point landing, he started his earth surfing again towards the mountains, this time he didn't hold back, seeing as how their weren't people or buildings around him this time.

Adena came up on a small pond and resting peacefully beside it was her Komodo Rhino, Agnimuhka. The beast perked it's ears at the sound of her entrance. She walked over to Agnimuhka, stroking her back. "Time to go home big girl," she whispered. Adena climbed on her back and they took off, heading west to the fire nation. Agnimuhka ran as fast as she could through the Earth Kingdom in the direction of the coast line.

"Keep to the skies, Adara," Ban-Ryu whispered, hoping his raveneagle would be smart enough not to get involved. As long as she followed him, from above of course, she should be fine. "This is a lot to take in," he told Jian as he quickly stepped to his partner's side. Ban-Ryu had stayed in the shadows of the King's Den the entire time, taking everything in stride. However, he had greatly disagreed with the idea these "men and women" being any sort of Resistance. Ban-Ryu was a trained soldier in the Fire Nation Army; he was more efficient than a simple foot soldier, but he was nothing special compared to the Firebending Masters that composed the core of the army. Ban had planned to tell the King that it was a bad idea and flat out refuse to be a part of this group, but he was conflicted; he could give the King some information regarding the FNA. Not much, mind you, but maybe something, battle formations and tactics. His inner conflict caused him to stay silent and by the time he finally was ready to speak up, King Tasuki mentioned the Avatar's private island and Bending Scrolls. 'Those could be just the information I need to master Firebending,' he thought, gripping his spear behind him. And then, before he could decide if he would agree to the King's plan, they were being rushed to the docks while the city was on lockdown. Mentally trained or not, Ban-Ryu got caught up in the excitement and found himself part of the group. Now, as he appeared next to Jian, he lifted his mask to reveal his face. "What do you make of this?" Unlike most of the others, Ban-Ryu walked in the shadows. Sure, he was part of a big group at the moment, but if a fiasco due to the lockdown happened, he could quickly duck out of a sight.

    Gender: Female
Appearance: http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd126/Firekeyblade/Longblackhairgirl.jpg Except with slightly shorter hair tied back in a low ponytail.
    Age: 21
Personality: Extremely loyal to whomever she believes in and stubborn to a fault. She seems to be rather apathetic to most things, though there have been times that something captures her interest (such as any new invention by the Fire Nation). She doesn't appear to have too many friends, but the few that she does, she would do almost anything for. She doesn't like to travel all the much, wanting to stay rooted in one place than move a lot, but she's mostly gotten over that "fear" of the great big world. Though she's quite observant, and a relatively good student, her lack of common sense puts her into humorous situations at times. She can be extremely protective
    Weapon: (If any) jian- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jian
    Nation of Birth: Fire Nation
Current Whereabouts/Residency: Somewhere in the Earth Kingdom
    Bender: Nope.
    Background:
It was uncommon for females to be enlisted as soldiers as that was seen mainly as a man's job. However, Feng's family only had herself and her younger brother barely a month old when the Firelord started enlisting boys to be part of the army. Out of an unusual offer of kindness, the soldier that was calling for able bodied men, told the family that he'd be back some other time for a soldier from their household. Determined not to let her younger brother, or her father fight, as he was greatly needed to manage household affairs and finances on their small farm, Feng began to practice using a sword. She could not fire bend, but she hoped her swordsmanship would more than make up for that. If nothing else, she hoped her speed would. Since she was small, she would always win races with the neighborhood boys to the point where they wouldn't want to race anymore. No one really believed that the army would accept her instead of a man, but strangely enough her mother allowed her to continue practicing anyway. After a few years, she had become quite athletic and extremely proficient with using her surroundings to her advantage as well as her own skills. The enlistment officer came back and as expected, refused to take her instead of the males in her household. Determined not to let her work be in vain, she challenged the officer to a dual. If she won, she would be a soldier, if she lost, then her brother would go. By chance, she won, as the officer was actually also quite skilled in combat. Many a time she was pushed down because of her light weight, but it was also obvious, that her speed and skill forced the officer to be more serious. It had been a close match, but she won. And a deal was a deal. In later years her notoriety would grow as one of the few, if not only, female soldier in the army that could disarm a great number of male soldiers. Her fame grew to the point that she was summoned to the palace to have an audience with the Firelord. Feng was extremely excited as she never thought that she would ever meet the Firelord in her life. Since he was so particular about bodyguards, he evaluated Feng's prowess by seeing her sparring against a few of his own. She lost obviously, but the Firelord wasn't disappointed. She had done well, and he announced to her that he would like her to be his daughter's personal body guard. For now he would like to have her keep this news on the down low and just watch over dear Princess Adena, before eventually revealing herself whenever she saw fit. Shocked with this news, the Firelord dismissed her and had a servant give her a map with the approximate location of where the Princess was now. He provided her a boat to get to the Earth Kingdom and a rental animal to help her travel.
Current Life: Feng is on the road trying to find the Princess and "watch over her". Many mishaps and situations happened along the way.
Pet?: Ostrich thing. She named it Kuzco. It doesn't travel that far before tiring out. She wonders if this was some sort of joke.

I read through the whole RP. All 24 pages.

OOC: Apologies for not posting sooner, I've been ill and busy with college work.

The sudden change of plans about leaving immediatly had not bothered Aria, she'd only just arrived in the city that day so all of her few possesions were on her. It seemed like she was leaving almost as soon as she had arrived but her time in the city had been quite eventful and she couldn't of hoped for a better chance than she was getting now. This was precisely why she'd come and she'd manage to join a strong group with ease; not that fighting to defend the city had been easy.

However, the thing that did bother her was the speed at which the princess had managed to escape, it hadn't even taken her an hour. Sure she was skilled, but you'd think the Earth Kingdom's Capital would have a good enough prison to keep her longer than that. Her power was scary if she could free herself that fast and they had plenty of training to do if they wanted to beat that. She just wondered how long before another town or village was destroyed by her hands, how many more lives would be lost or suffer by the princess's doing. This was certainly no fairy tale princess they were dealing with.

They Kyoshi Warrior had stayed quiet so far on their journey towards the docks, easily keeping pace with the others. She'd sayed by them, she wanted to get to know them more but words kept escaping more. That was the trouble with living on an island with very few visitors, her social skills to be able to start a conversation with a new person were weak. Not from lack of confidence but from a lack of knowing what to say. She resigned herself to smiling until she found the right words.
