Avast blocked a malware

    The malware was found in the official FFXIII site though?
    Strange...

    The file it blocked is a js files, from its name it looks innocent, maybe it's just a false positive?

    Very strange. Avast doesn't want you looking at FFXIII.

    That's a very real malware block.
    I just cleaned my laptop of a virus, quite a few file of which were js.

    That is probably a coincidence, js files are javascript. I suppose someone could give viruses out through js files, but they're not evil or anything, haha.

    I know what they are, I use Avast! too lol, and every time I've gotten a particular virus it's always from a site I don't expect.
    Not all the infected files are js either, but a fair number are.

    I'd do a system scan just to be safe, Kubo.

    Do you guys get that a popup from avast when you visit that site?

    I get nothing from it, but I use Security Essentials.
