Avalon: The world of no return

"Hmph, more of a challenge. Take on Kyo and me at the same time." Sakura grabbed her staff, making it hover in the air in front of them. Another sharp bark came closer. "Okay, let's get this over with." Sakura slashed through two at the same time, killing one and knocking the other out. "Incoming!" Kicking a wolf in its jaw, Sakura put a hand to her temple and yelled, "Ookami wa okonatte kudasai!" Suddenly, five pups disapated in the wind, Kura thankful for her japanese roots.

OOC: yes, I used japanese in my post. just thought Sakura could use a little bit of that time to time.

 

Vin sighed as he felt a barrier close down on Ash's heart. "No thank you miss. I must stay with Mikazuki. It is my duty to ensure her safety."

Ash groaned internally and glanced over his shoulder, allowing a brief warm look at Vin, "Hopefully you're not spacing out when you should be protecting her. You know how you get Vin."

 

Kyoko looked at the two, her sword swinging in her hands. "Okay...whatever floats your boat." She turned back to Romeo, sighing. "You ready for tomorrow? It's gonna be tough training all around."

Sakura slashed her sword through another wolf pup, her staff floating behind her, catching any back attacks. "Alright, you want to play?"

 

Ash mumbled to himself, something about choosing to skip training, and lazily unfocused his eyes, staring at the multiple strands of souls buried in the ground. "Is there anything we can do to get ourselves out of training?"

 

"Hmm." Kyoko thought to herself for a second, and nodded. "Yeah, but only if you had....what's the word, oh yeah! Servants who could do it for you. That way, if they got stronger, I could transfer their strength to you."

Mikazuki looked at Ash, knowing he probably wouldn't be doing training. Sighing to herself, she looked down, deep in thought. 'I wonder....what should we doo for training....I assume everyone is going to be strong enough...'

 

Romeo smiled."I'm ready!"

 

Ash scornfully glanced at Romeo, "Of course you are. Aren't the ones who show brawn over brains always ready for extensive training?" He turned a half hidden by his hair, smirk to Kyoko, "And what makes you think I'm not strong already. But never-the-less, I have servants...of a sort." he chuckled lightly as if amused by his statement.

 

Hmm, She's not half bad Clark thought to himself watching Sakura and smiling, his eyes darted to his left as a duo of wolves came snarling towards him. "Oh really now?" he said drawing his bow and letting loose 2 arrows simultaneously for 2 headshots "These savage beasts can't possibly even try to compare" he said shooting another one closing in on his back. Clark stared at Sakura again "Hey Princess! How you doin'? Can you handle the heat?"

 

Romeos smile faded"I'm smart..."

 

Ash snorted, his fingers hovering by a thread of a mortal soul. He was almost grateful only necromancers could see them. "Oh really? Why, I hadn't noticed you were so smart as to catch on. My, my, you deserve a cookie." he mocked, his black eyes sparkling with amusment under his hair.

 

"I wanna a cookie!JK!I'd rather be not as smart than to be weak."

 

That hit Ash somewhere soft. He snarled and touched the thread, it wrapped around his palm and he yanked it upwards. "Servant of the dead, arise from your earthly prison!" An old Samuri zombie (you could call it) clawed its way up through the dirt and stood beside Ash, long katana in hand and armor broken away in places. it's skin was rotting and maggots dropped from his empty eye sockets. "Who's the weak one now?!" his temper ran a long leash but his words bit like vipers.

 

"You!What?You can't fight for your self?!",He said looking at the Zombie thing,half scared.

 

Ash thought for a second, though his hand was tied to the thread of the samuri's soul, he flicked out his gleaming silver pistol. A pentagram was carved into the sides of it. "True, I often don't fight for myself, but...I can." Twirling the pistol he aimed it at the zombie's head and pulled the trigger. A silver bullet flew through the decaying mess of it's head but it didn't move. "There are some things I'd rather not sully my hands with. Like a petty fight with you." Tucking away his pistol he sighed and searched for a different kind of thread around him.

 

Kyoko watched as the two continued to argue. "Boys will be Boys." She declared, grabbing Romeo by the ear and yanking him down. "If we're a team, we gotta work together!......Wow, that sounded crappy coming from me....." She added under her breath. "Anyway, I gotta get back to Sakura. She's probably up to her ears in Wolves."

"Hey, I've taken out at least four already!" Sakura protested, jumping backward. "And how are YOU doing Prince?" Slashing her staff through a wolf head, she felt a sharp pang through her leg. Looking back at it, she saw a bite mark the size of her palm. "Damn." She sighed, flicking her wrist at a pup that came near.

Mikazuki looked at Kyoko, then at Ash. "I think those two won't get along very often." She told Vin, making sure they wouldn't hear. "I'm very sure of that."

 

Romeo replied blankly,"Whatever."

 

Kyoko rolled her eyes. "Have fun killing each other!" She snapped, stomping off into the woods. Dreamer suddenly appeared at her side, panting. " Sakura's in trouble! She's got bitten by wolves." He nudged her toward the right. "Oh no." Kyoko took off, whistling for her secret weapon. Then, a large, white tiger lept out of a tree, its eyes darting. "You called, Kyoko?" It sighed, leaping through the air quickly. "Good of you to show up, Allora." Kyo patted her pet tiger as she dashed through a clearing.

Sakura winced in pain as another wolf bit her arm. "Get off me!" She screeched, swatting it to a tree. "Clark, you holding up?" She asked, holding her arm. "We're gonna need help."

 

Clark laughed at her words "Prince? Hardly but thank you for thinking so" His bow cut down another 3 wolves. "Is there no end to these monsters?" A group of 4 wolves stalking nearby were dismantled by an exploding arrow shot at the center of their group "I mean not that i can't keep up....." a weakness in Clark's personality, letting on that he wasn't the strongest fighter and didn't like to fight or kill all that much unless it was necessary.

 

Romeo yelled"Wait!" He said as he ran after her.

Kyoko kept running, ignoring Romeo calling for her. "Allora, Dreamer, sniff out Sakura, now." She commanded, following the two animals toward her friend. "Sakura! Where are you?"

"I'm here!" Sakura looked up from a wolf and waved her arms just in case Kyo was close enough. "Don't do that!" Kyo yelled, appearing out the woods, Allora and Dreamer at her sides. "Help!"

Mikazuki turned back to Ash and Vin. "There you go, the leader of the blue team, going to help her other friend. Any questions?"
