Avalon: The world of no return

As Max woke up she went to search for food, and water.
"No, werewolves....thats good." She said as she ate a berry.

 

"No, we don't always let strangers in! Plus, we know you guys, so that doesn't really count." Kyo crossed her arms.

"Don't throw a fit again, Kyo." Sakura sighed, eating the rest of her apple. Tossing it behind her again, she smiled just a bit when she heard a Thump! "And it soars into the trash can."

Mikazuki lept from tree to tree again, now wearing a simple black hunter's cloak over her clothes. Grunting as she landed on the ground, she spotted Max. "What is she up to?"

 

Ash sighed, falling back onto the floor to stare up at the ceiling. "You know us hmm? Romeo maybe...but me...I prefer to remain hidden." He stretched an arm up toward the ceiling, his sleeve falling down his slim arm and showing off the dark black tattoos the Deathchanter had.

Vin huffed as he slowly followed her and listend to Mikazuki, "She's looking for werewolves to retrieve something they took from her." He answered simply.

 

Max stood up from the river.
As she began to walk she tripped.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

 

Before Vin knew what he was doing, he'd bolted from his spot in the trees and caught Max around the waist, pulling her back and holding her against his chest, "Whew, that was a close one. You shouldn't be so careless."

 

" Vin?" Max blushed looking in the water.
She couldn't even think.
"Um.... Thanks."

 

Mikazuki smiled to herself right before jumping up another tree. 'Mid! Where are you?!' She called telepathically. Mid appeared next to her, perched carefully on the tip. "Find us some food, soon." He nodded, jumped off the tree and ran to Mikazuki's right. "Good, now I have to round everyone up."

 

Grinning, Vin let her go and turned on his heel, "Be more careful and I won't have to catch you so many times. You'll see less of me. It's better that way." His smile fell away as he started to walk away.

 

" Vin wait!" Max yelled running to him.
" What do you mean?" Max looked into his eyes.

 

He smiled softly, "It's just not safe to be connected to me. I don't want to put you in any danger Max. People close to me...usually end up dead." He put it as simply as he could, trying not to be overly cruel. Vin never could just say 'no'. It was always an elaborate story, true or otherwise.

 

Max looked down, not thinking about what Vin just said.
Then Max felt someone looking at them.
" I have to go." Max's said, shaking.
A tear rolled on Max's cheek, not looking at the trees or Vin, Max begun to run.
" Nobody gets it!!" She thought.
" NOBODY!"

 

Vin sadly watched her run away. Max...I'm afraid I've hurt you already. This is Ash's fault, I just know it is."

 

Max stopped running.
" Why, Why do I feel this way?" Max said to herself.
Max eyes opened wide," Who's there?!" Max looked at the tree.
" I feel the fang." Max stood up.
As a werewolve jumped out at Max, she jumped out of its reach.
She spotted the FANG!
The werewolve scratched Max's face and leg.
Max started to run.
"This isn't good." Max said looking at the blood dripping down her leg from the cut on her knee.

 

Calmly, Vin rested back against a tree. He couldn't bear his thoughts a second longer. "Rgh, I swear...I've never let myself be this involved in real life before."

 

Max jumped on a tree!
Then another,and kept going.
Until a werewolve jumped at her side.
Max jumped off the tree, falling on her arm. AS the werewolve jumped,Max rolled over so he would miss her.
"DAMMIT!" Max thought as she pulled out a knife.

 

Quickly, Mikazuki lept across the trees, landing right behind Max. "You always need help, don't you?"

Kyoko dashed toward her target, slashing through it. Panting, she put her blade down. "Leaving tomorrow, gotta train."

 

Ash sighed and fell backwards, Well great, what am I supposed to do until then? I guess I could try to sleep again... His eyes closed.

Vin sharpened his blade against a rock, finding a stream to wash up in. He felt dirty from Ash's little games.

 

" Yeah I guess I do?!" Max said, looking at the werewolves.
" Ready?" She asked.

 

Mikazuki nodded, charging the wolves. Doing a flip in mid-air, she flicked her hand, sending a wolf into another. "Might get hard if you get bit in the leg again."
