I believe that was supposed to be a time stamp, not sure though since I haven't gotten one yet. It doesn't matter much though. The PM time stamp works and the PM content tells you where the post was deleted from

 

Take a screenshot of it in your message list, your INBOX.

So has there been any thread deletions since the reinstall? I'm curious on how the mod handles it after all the debates on the matter.

 

Read the whole top line. Look at the title and then the date on the far right. It makes sense that way.

If not, then it works like it was anyway.

 

Regardless of what it should have been, it now will simply send "Post Deleted".

Which sections were we planning to exclude? I remember we had a few in the old topic in Spam, but it was deleted when we were hacked, and I can't recall what they were.

I'd assume Spam would be one of them, could've been all sections with no post count?

 

Why would you eliminate the Spam Zone? You delete spam there often?

 

I'd suggest just RP section, due to the thread deletions that go on there. If a post of mine is deleted in Spam, I still want to know what I did wrong. (Although chances are if it's deleted in Spamzone, I'll also be getting a nice infraction.)

We could leave it enabled for all sections, then disable them later on, once we've seen the results and the like. If a forum turns out to be a problem, it's easy enough to disable.

 

Because if something is deleted there, there is a good chance it was deleted for a reason, and having the member know the reason is good.

You're right in the sense that we probably could cut it without much effect. But why disable it when it won't do any harm to have it enabled?

 

I understand that a person is notified if their posts / threads are edited, deleted, restored, but what about if their posts / threads are moved?

 

There is the option for that but I didn't think it necessary, as a staff member posts in the thread to tell them, and because we usually leave redirects.

Is the auto-PM system still in use? Cause I've lost two posts without notification. I wouldn't bother otherwise but it makes the difference between prem and normie...

 

Trust me, it works. I got notifications for every single one of my posts that were deleted earlier. :3
