Site News AutoPM - Finally installed!

Due to popular demand, we have finally installed AutoPM. Making a new separate thread for it as to avoid confusion.

Basically, this is what AutoPM is:

We, The KH-Vids.Net staff do take your input into consideration when it merits it, however we are sometimes forced to look at every angle before taking action. Nonetheless, we greatly appreciate your patience and hope that you may continue to suggest great ideas for the site.

Note: Please do not respond to the Auto PMs unless you have an issue of some sort with the post/thread that was deleted or modified.

Let me see if I understand correctly. From this point on, anytime someone's post is deleted, they'll get a private message with a reason stating why it was deleted?

 

If we decide to put a reason. Otherwise just a notification.

It took a while, but we got there in the end.
At last, I can post comfortably and not try to figure out which post was deleted if... well, I notice my count has dropped. My mind is now at rest with this feature enabled.

But yes, I'd have to agree with P in that maybe it's best to have this announced in a fresh thread.
When I first looked, I got confused with the original posts in this thread until I noticed the date on them was from ages ago.

Alright it's working now, had to reinstall it because the version upgrade corrupted it somehow.

I think I found a little bug.

The subject of the message is "Post Deleted on".

Shouldn't it be "Post Deleted on [thread title]"?

The post that was deleted. It could have been a VM or something.

You said that you got "Post Deleted on". The post that was deleted, where was it from? That might help us find out why it didn't list a thread.

 

Yes. The SUBJECT of the message I received from RvR's test message was "Post Deleted on" instead of "Post Deleted on [thread title]".

The post that was deleted was a test post that I posted here for RvR to test it.

 

That is interesting. Maybe it was supposed to show the date instead? At least it told you which post was deleted in the message itself.
