I searched and was surprised to not find a thread about this already in existence...

I must admit, this movie was simply fantastic. I usually am very critical of movies because let's face it: the majority of them nowadays are just terrible...and with movies being so expensive, who wants to waste time&money on all those bad ones!?
Anyway...it was a really cute story, and as unrealistic as it was, it remained believeable. I personally like the somewhat unknown actors in it, they play the parts well. And the kid is just too cute :)!!
The music was really good too...
It feels like it lasts a long time, but it is so enjoyable that you don't ever want it to end!

So anyone else seen it? What'd you think?

 

The musical finale was so heart-warming and beautiful, I was on the verge of tears. :cryinganime:

Robin Williams played yet another non-comedic role and he was pretty belivable. Too bad how his character ended up. Sad, I know.

Kinda cool how the little prodigy got his musical ability from both parents who have different song styles.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was really no closure at the end. It just went straight through the music and faded out before seeing the results. I was expecting the kid to finally see who his parents were. And yeah, I know he met both of them at least once in the movie, but they were total strangers!

So, yeah. Heartfelt movie that would just bring tears to your eyes if you're moved by music.

 

I saw it. I LOVED it =]

It was so sad, and I simply adored his music. The one he composed was brilliant! And the end was just sooo awesome ^_^

 

I cried like a baby! T_T its so sad!
