Yeah, I guess so. I never really got anything out of Gantz. Probably because I marathoned most of it in one shot just to please one of my friends who was a big fan. But in the end it just feels pretty weak character wise for a seinen. Anyhow, you're more right than not so you got that one.

Shingeki, I should say has a lot of violence in it for the sake of violence in addition to the world that they've got going. Like many specific events could be overlooked, cut or just ignored. So yeah, I like it mostly because of the characters and the general world. The themes aren't exactly compelling.

So yeah, I just wasn't really putting much thought in I guess. Come to think of it, the last time I discussed a show at all was when I argued with you for like a day about Korra. I must be getting rusty.

SnK has violence due to the nature of the enemies they fight in it. Giants
So naturally there's lots of getting crushed, chomped and stomped. It's more to show just how utterly ****ed everyone is compared to the titans rather then "Wanna see how far someone's intestines can go?"

Nah, I mean, I get that. It's just volume, because I like to have these things more concise and trimmed than they're throwing them. Like I thought it was cool to have the scene where the guy finds his gun and then rejoicing over his own suicide and other stuff like that. It's just when it starts to repeat things I've already seen I kind of feel like he's just saying, "cool more guts fit here."

Speaking of Korra, I can't help but get irked when I hear some of my friends say it's better than ATLA
