discuss assassins creed here. from what ive heard its pretty good.

 

Yeah the game is good and all, just that it's repetitive. The combat system gets old after awhile and gets too easy especially after you learn a certain move...

 

what move?

 

A counter attack move, it allows you to kill an enemy instanty when they attack, so pretty much all you have to do is sit there and when they try to attack, hit a button

 

well what is the combat like?

 

uh...I mean the AI is alright and all, it feels like a real medievil sword fighting game getting surrounded by guys and attacking them

 

is it fast paced? or relatively slow

 

fast paced, although they block a lot, to kill quickly is to counter, which I feel is cheating

 

that sounds kinda easy. is there any way to make it hard?

 

I like it! It's fast paced and fun. The graphiics are beautiful, the controls are intuitive, and the overall premise is innovative!

Despite the fact that it gets quite repetitive after the first three assassinations, Assassins' is a good game. Not the best game but I would definetely if you've got the cash to spare or you're into the whole Crusades thing.

 

ill probaly rent it, because i heard it was relaly short.

 

The first half, absolutely brilliant. It was something different, feels so fluid, gameplay and the assassinations are fun. But around Memory Block 3-4, it starts to get really repeative, doing the same thing about 10 times. And then the end involves a hell of alot of fighting, which isn't the best aspect of the game.

 

So renting it is probably the best idea then? im going to rent DMC4 tomorrow, so ill probably get assassins creed too.

It depends on all you do, I mean theres 80 Templars that you can kill, plus so many flags in each city. I played through it and beat it in one day, but that was without doing all the side stuff

 

well, the stuff like flags and templars, theres also stuff I did indeed do, like the viewpoints and saving the civilians. Theres also side missions like pickpocket someone to get a map or something. Also interrogations and what not, just gets old cuz it's the same thing everytime

 

actually, amazing. Although I ran into a few glitches like walking off a building and continue walking through air, I also went through a wall, other than that, the graphics are good
