Um...I know I'm not the GREATEST at sigs...or anything CLOSE to being GOOD. But please tell me if this one is good ._.
The render is kinda bizzare, the BG could improve, basically is not very pleasant to the eye, with is a problem.
KG, stop pulling out grammar here, not the place. The background needs to be scraped it doesn't fit the render at all. Also change the text. There is no flow here and it just looks like random smudging and brushing.
It seems like all the effects are covering up the render. Not that the render isn't showing, it's just that the effects are too distracting. The brushes on top of the render are not a good way to go. It just looks like someone splattered paint all over it, and for something like this it doesn't look appropriate. Also, with how dark the render is, I think the background should either match it or be darker. Bright colors catch the eye, and in this case it's drawing the attention away from the render.
Filter line at the top left. Blend it in. Also, text needs to go. Far too contrasted. The stock was blended with a nice style, and I love what you did. Or rather what you aimed for. Erase the effects on his shoulder, and on his face-area. Move the stock over and up slightly so the balance evens out. As for colors, the stock doesn't fit to well. Try darkening some things to make sure it blends, and then sharpen the stock to add some depth. =] And well... border needs to go. Otherwise good job. You've got a nice style in there. Don't play with grammar. You know what the person meant. Not the place to be worrying about whether or not someone spelled something entirely correct. As long as you can read it. Otherwise, PM him/her. xD =3
its not that bad :D I don't understand why you're saying your bad >.> anyways. The render is nice, but I suggest using colours that match it. The splatter or distortion around the sig is nice, but it doesn't match anything on the signature. Try softening that up. And also try Filter>>Brush Strokes>>Angled Strokes. The background is really nice, but try darkening it up. Use some C4Ds and put some more effects. Tutorial: http://psprofessor.billzproject.net/index.php?forumsignatures. The text and the drop shadow does not match the signature. Try Arial Black, Century Gothic, etc. In bold, and in caps. The black [brushes?] aren't very nice with the background. And try a texture and gradient maps.
@NP <3 Is that in GIMP or PhotoShop? << or both? @DW Sorry about the grammar thing D: And I'll try to fix those things as soon as I can get on the computer with the files on it << @Spit Again, sorry ._. And thanks for the CnC. @DM Did you even READ the stickies that tell you how to CnC? x_x
lol. yeah. there aren't many GIMP tutorials >< but a lot of PS tutorials can be translated into GIMP.
I feel like you sig dimentions are too big for the render. Though the render is huge, there is still alot of negative space on a somewhat flat background. Maybe make the sig size smaller and resize the render to make it more of a rectangle than a square, then you can fill up the empty space with text. Also, if you use a color balance or fill layer to color the background, put the render layer under it. Grey and sea green clash too much. Text is more of something id expect to see in a robot sig, assassins creed takes place during the middle ages, try a font that represents that. Hope all this helps.
