In neither of those links above does it say that Altair is playable. Unless there's some other source you have. It just says Ezio is following under Altair's footsteps. So he might be mentioned again but as for being playable...nothing I've seen confirms it.

It's sounding very promising. The hookblade sounds awesome, and the ziplines are very much welcomed. I'm liking the the Den and Borgia Towers concept but the best part is playing as Altair and Desmond as well. I'm curious if the Black Room memories will be available if certain requirements are made, kinda like the finding the glyphs.

I can't wait for the game. I am worried though that it is coming out in november. It feels like it's being rushed by the company. I really wish they would take there time wit it.

I hope the middle eastern accent given to Altair in Bloodlines is changed. I do like the fact he is given an accent, but again Bloodlines just overkilled it.

I am happy to see Altair again, I was starting to miss him.

Multiplayer looks to be set in a setting circa Altair's time period I presume. It'll be good to get out of the Renaissance Italy for Medievel Middle East in terms of settings and characters looks. I hope they open up the abilities and looks of the characters because they were one of the best parts of it.
And a brief look of Desomnd's story. Very eerie.

It's looking fabulous, and the artwork is gorgeous! E3 can't come soon enough.

I'm sure that if it's coming out in November, they would have had it planned out for a while. The sheer number of things that could go wrong without the planning, and given how soon it is, would suggest they've said "Alright, so we release Brotherhood then get straight on to Revelations."

Don't forget that the staff working on Revelations is the largest team in Ubisoft History. Every AC has been great so far, this one will not disappoint.

It was the same with Brotherhood after ACII, but the team did a great job on that.

Retz, if you had wanted there to be more on Altair, then there is Bloodlines and that other one. You want more of his story? Get those.

    AC:R

New multiplayer, of course. You'll be able to costumize your character and other ****. They've shown four multi chars so far, and I don't like how they look. There's a former assassin that joins the Templars that you can play as. I, for one, don't like that. They better give a deep story on why he did.
Ezio goes to Constatinople or w/e to find out more about his ancestor, Altair. You'll be able to play as Ezio AND Altair to get specific memories or some crap. There will be a new feature that allows you to plant traps on enemies, plus a new Eagle Vision feature.
I heard that in AC:B there is a black room that Desmond goes to so that he won't end up as Subject 16. So, in AC:B, (spoilers I guess) Desmond gets knocked out, and is somehow put into an Animus. Since (I guess) Desmond will be spending a lot of time in the Animus, he will be in the Black Room or something w/e.

    We also don't know if
Lucy actually did die in the end of AC:B.

There's some new equipment, so they've said. A hook line thing that you can shoot to buildings or something to go through maps faster. You can own maps or something, and plant these lines. Also, if guards are pissed off at you (Incognito), you'll be able (If you own this place or w/e) to stop them from attacking. If you get in trouble a lot, though, **** happens.

They better make this a bit different than the other games. Im sick of doing missions where all you can do is do Leaps of Faith and assassinations. Damn it, for me it was so repetetive. I own all of ****ing Rome in AC:B, and (SPOILERS?) got Brutus' armor, which I do not like. I lvl'd all my Assassins to lvl 10, and barely even ****ing use them. Sure, the ****ing map is big, but it felt freaking short. It was nice playing as Desmond though. I like how they added a freaking zipper to his hoodie.

    @Rat
I find it amusing that out of your whole post, the one thing you said positively about Brotherhood was the fact they gave Desmond a zipper to his hoodie. You shouldn't be playing video games if the fashion of a character is what gets you excited! :p

Ubisoft has stated they will be fleshing out the multiplayer story side ofthings, so the chance of finding out more aboutthe personas you will be playing as could be shown.

And with Ezio being in The Black Room, we'll be able to find out more about him and his past. I doubt very much he'll be leaving the Animus for this game, at least being able to play as him and instead only shown in cutscenes.
I personally thought there was loads to do in Brotherhood. And the apprentices were handy, especially since at times I got lazy and let them do the work, especially in hard to Dean areas. And knowing they're more customisable and advanced this time round, can't wait to make my dream team of deadly Assasins.

Heh, I can't wait to play this, although I am surprised at how quickly they've been able to produce- it isn't that long since Brotherhood came out.

I only wish Square had the same work ethic...

Revelations E3 trailer was immense, Ezio moving surprisingly well for a pensioner with his spinning and his dashing good looks, and massive environments that look amazing and detailed, combat looks more fun, bombs look more useful and i'm glad for the return of my apprentices, this game is a must now.

EDIT: The two special Editions of AC: Revelations have been announced.

Damn, both of the editions looks sexy as hell. I'm definitely buying the Animus Edition since it looks like it has the most content. Revelations is already my most anticipated game this year.

Definitely going for the Animus Edition. The game looks fabulous so it's totally worth it.

Hopefully the Animus edition won't cost anymore then the Codex Edition of Brotherhood. God that thing burnt a massive hole in my finances even if it was a damn beautiful collectors edition, leather bound book and all. Stupid low paid student jobs.
