The final chapter of Ezio's story. It's early days, but I have mixed feelings about this. A part of me likes having Ezio back (albeit he's older) but another part wants to see the overall story progress (With Desmond and all). I'll be very pleased though if this game provides just that. That and some new gameplay features.

The first screenshot does look delicious.

Ottoman Empire. Not bad. I'm interested in what this revolutionary gameplay will be like.

Was just about to do this myself!

But yeah, i'm kinda glad Ezio's back one last time, though I am glad this is the last time, but what I like even more is the inclusion of Altair, he needed a greater expansion in his story and i'm glad we'll be able to play as him once again.

And yay multiplayer returns! After maxing at Level 50 there's just not as much to do, thank god for the DLC.

Still don't know why they gave Ezio three games but give Altair only one. And he was more important. But, I'm still looking forward to this. I am guessing they will introduce a new lead character in every main installment. I just hope they use feudal japan in the future.

    Yes! Another AC game!

Gosh, I'm excited about this ^^

Where does it state that you will be able to play as Altaïr?

Actually Altaïr appears in three games, but two were not so big though (Bloodlines and Altaïr's Chronicles)

Yes, that's what I meant. At first it seems like Altair was just there to be there then forgotten. But I'm glad he's coming back.

So far, It's called the ''hook blade''. Don't think that will be the official name either.

I like Ezio as much as the next guy, but I was really hoping for a new character already. Well, at least we'll get a new location this time around (As in, a whole new country). I was getting bored of Italy.
Although isn't November a bit early?
    Ah well.

And Old Ezio? Lol. I guess if Solid Snake could carry out missions as an elderly man, so can he.

Did anyone else seeing this coming after seeing this in Brotherhood?

Desmond seeing Ezio's ghost as an old man coming back to the Assassin's tomb

Yeah I thought about it. I was trying to remember if anything had happened in Brotherhood that explained this. Guess we'll find out.

    Also
Correct me if I'm wrong, but do we ever find out what those Altars next to the Monteriggioni mansion are? The ones referencing ancient Gods.

I was stalking the Assassin's Creed Facebook thingy and Ubi Forums and I've known for a few days now where the next game would take place...but I thought it would involve more of Altair as there were pictures of a hood and brace that looked almost exactly like what Altair wore. Everybody thought the game would involve gameplay with Altair. Now that it's just Ezio with new armor I'm sure a lot of people will be disappointed. He's gotten enough of the spotlight. >>

Altair was my favorite character just because of the sheer badassery he had. Ezio was a great character but I guess I just preferred Altair. I wonder what new stuff has been added to this new game.

If you looked further, you'll find that Altair, Ezio and Desmond are all playable at some point in the game, and I expect they'll all be playable around 1/3 of the whole game in equal parts.

I think they were Roman Gods, but yeah those. If you got near them the pedestals would say something like "It seems you can put something here" or something of the sort.
Now I could be wrong though.

But did we get any clarification on that?

There were little gold statues around the villa that you could collect. I think it was just for fun.

Oh yeah, the same gods but named differently when the Roman Empire came to power in order to integrate with the local populace. But anyway, they're not that integral to the overall stories, they're an extra in the game where by you collect statues located around the villa and buildings and place them on top of the pedestals, when the gods are properly paired you get a monetary reward. They are more an allusion to the ones who came before in the games.

    Thanks lol.
