It's nice n' all but its a bit unnecessary, or at least awfully early to be releasing this. It wasn't that long ago that they released the Ezio trilogy.
This mainly. It seems more a way to get money in game bundles, a popular thing at the moment, like the new way of HD releases, instead of improvements they're just releasing games at the end of the console life. I would've at least said wait till all AC3 DLC was released...
Well, this'll certainly be nice for someone like me (never played an AC game but very interested in the mythos). Hopefully the price gets bumped down between now and the release, but I have a feeling this is something I'll be investing in.
I highly recommend it. AC is one my favorite video game franchises ever (tied with KH). Although, let me warn you, the first one may feel a bit slow, but the games get much better after it.
I can't help but agree with this. Releasing two collections does seem like a bit much on Ubisoft's part.
I think they'd be trying to ride on the popularity and sales of AC3 by saying to people who may be interested in the new game, but have never played the others, low and behold, you get the whole lot to play! If this was released mid next year, sales probably wouldn't be as high, the hype of the holidays and AC3 being released no longer creating a demand in the market as high.
Wow, that's really expensive. I can see it attracting people who haven't played the series before, but I really don't understand who this is marketed at. People who follow the series already own all the games. There's not much that makes it a worthwhile collector's piece. I just don't understand.
