    If you are just going to say america over and over, and putting little comments in it, I suggest changing your post.

    My opinions about this: I'm somewhat disappointed. I was hoping it not to be with American history. Now, before you all go patriotic and all that crap with me. What made Assassin's Creed unique was that it was in different time periods and in a different country. What countries you ask? Italy, Constantinople and Israel(The Holy Land). It gave us something different than other games that were made. I won't lie and say that the new protagonist is bad ass looking. However, I don't know how they are going to include the whole story into this. I understand that the place at the end of Revelations they knew the place on where they have to be, which I assumed was in the New York area or something. I'll wait for this game but I'm sad at the location.

    Nevertheless, I want to know how does that Asian assassins from Embers fit into ANY of this. I just hope it's good, and it doesn't get ruined.

    i know exactly what you are talking about since i have that game hahahah.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    but honestly, I've also seen people saying how desmonds lineage is all screwy and how there couldn't possibly be native american in him AND italian AND syrian, etc. etc. etc. and thats not true. A lot of people say they have some native american in them and they don't look it at all. not everyone has to look like pocahontas in order to be native american. plus, lineages come from everywhere. take me for example, russian, japanese, italian, french. like wtf its from everywhere, so it's obviously possible.
    the tree idea i really like, definitely innovative and would add a new aspect to gameplay seeing as how i don't know if they would have zip lines in AC3 and would once again take away a gameplay aspect (even if the zip lines never went the way you wanted them to go).
    i just really want to see how they put in the founding fathers, it'll be interesting to see how they intertwine the native american history with it all. because in fact, the revolutionary war was one of the most extensive wars that the native americans fought in, so i wouldn't be surprised to see some tribe on tribe action.....fighting. most likely the main character would be of iroquois descent because they were living around upstate new york, etc. but idk. also, they couldn't decide on which side to fight with during the war so it could potentially add some sort of internal conflict and character development within the game similar to how altair had to deal with al muslim, abbas, and the rest of the creed, often times having to make tough decisions on which side to choose.
    Well, I live in the UK, so I don't know very much about the American Civil War, so it will interesting and new for me.
    Uhhh, for those of you who don't know, lemme just clear this up real fast - Assassin's Creed III will be taking part during the American Revolution, not the American Civil War.
    I was right about the tree climbing and more aggressive combat! YES. I'm loving the bits about making our new assassin much more mobile. Though the whole having 1000 people onscreen is just a recipe for hack-and-slash button mashing to kill a bunch of generic dudes. I'm feeling like this'll be Red Dead Redemption but with Assassin's Creed instead of that Western flair...and during the American Revolution instead of the Industrial Revolution. Hunting sounds rather fun. Can't wait to see the trailer for this. 8D
    I kinda don't want to see multiplayer return. It's been alright, but I've never thoroughly enjoyed multiplayer in either Brotherhood and Revelations. Meh. Also, I wish they'd get rid of that 100% sync stuff for missions. Sometimes it's fun but other times...it's just really frustrating. B|
    It seems quite a departure from the first and second game really.
    The idea of constantly moving, though exciting, makes it sound a bit like constant work. I mean, at times free running is tough at a fast pace, like some of the areas in Revelations which though were epic and awesome, were something best served in small doses. I like to stop and smell the roses occassionaly without being persuaded to move on. But i'm sure that's a bit of an exaggeration in terms of how i'm thinking.
    Combat sounds interesting, seeing as lock on isn't a feature anymore. I can't see how it'll work like that but we'll see, sounds like it's trying to take you away from AC2 countering to kill, to more Arkham Asylum fast paced fighting and countering with gadgets and weapons thrown in to the mix. And that sounds welcome, really, because though it's nice to pull off a perfect counter on every enemy without having to directly press an attack button, fast paced fighting is a bit more lively and can mean more enemies to fight at once.
    Multiplayer locales will be lovely, by the looks of it. Can't wait to see more on that. Hopefully more modes and customisations.
    Co-op would also be increibly lovely addition if they could implement it. If anything, that would make my day.
    To be honest hearing all of this info, and seeing those screens, I don't care where it is set, it's still got charm.
    Wow just looking at those images.
    Wow....wow.
    It looks so stunning and awesome....
    Hopefully it'll be really good!
    Edit - Also, that dude with his hand in his coat. Looks like he's posing for a picture, and I've heard people who pose like that are part of the Illuminati.
    I'm pretty sure they'll have multiplayer for this one, I think it would be a little silly not to. Revelations multiplayer was . . . a little bit of a failure in my opinion. I was much more fond of Brotherhood's.
    Still, a lot of people buy the game for the main game, not the multiplayer.
    And that announcement trailer, mmmmph. Delicious.
    It does, they're keeping tight lipped about details though. Probably trying promote the new character and all before the multplayer stuff.
    What console do you play it on? Brotherhood, I know, is dead.
