    Ash is one of the main reasons they don't use the 'Gotta Catch 'em All!' slogan anymore.

    Also because of just how many pokemon there are.

    Nintendo: They want us to what? Make an entirely new series? Why? Because they want something more directed at the older audiences? They do realize the show was originally intended for kids, right? Next thing you know, older people will be getting into My Little Pony. What? They already are?
