As I thought

The original Devil May Cry series, which I own all the titles of, will (right now) almost certainly not get a continuation because of the series being rebooted. I really wanted another game after I finished Devil May Cry 4, because I wanted to see the story continue and I wanted to play more of the high-speed, technical-yet-fun combat, with even more moves and styles and weapons.

I meant like, holy **** dude, DMC was great and all, but it's not exactly like "WELP NO MORE DMC NO MORE HOPE" or something. Just seems like an overreaction to me, is all.

And why is that?

I don't mean for it to sound like an overreaction, I just don't know any over game series that's been rebooted, and then they decided to go back to the original version ._.

 

I enjoyed the style of DmC and the setting alot, if the new assets were handed over to a better company than Ninja Theory, because let's face is the combat of HEavenly Sword is a heck of a lot similar to DmC, a game 6 years down the line of the company. You begin to wonder if they're not the most creative bunch. I think we could have a good relationship going.
