    Yes, I do.

You don't see it because that is a summary. Talking to those who believe in chivalry today or even looking back at the history of it in romance, you should be able to see that 'respecting the honor of women' was as far as it went. Not raping them was the most respect they got. Instead, it was set upon men to give them honor. You weren't allowed to rape a woman but you could force her to marry. The Knights were expected to take care of all of a woman's needs and not to let her do things herself. A Knight would not respect a woman's right to sell herself, for instance. He would insist that she did not have need of money because he would do everything for her. If a Knight married, said Knight would effectively own his wife and make sure that she only did things that honored him, and from his perspective, herself.

They took a moral high ground over those who raped women, but that was truly its only purpose. It is easy to make yourself feel better about being a sexist bastard when you have rapists to point to. It may have made them better than the rapists, but it enforced sexism as a sense of honor. Women were treated differently in the honor code because they were treated differently in society without it, but in a society without the rape culture, chivalry quickly becomes the most harmful sexist standard around. The Knight's sense of honor is similar to the white man's burden when it comes to women.

I feel even more afraid than I normally do to post in threads in the Spam Zone now.
In case I get dragged into a discussion. Blargh.

But no, I am not in love. Not anymore. I do, however, "have feelings" towards someone...or actually, four or five someones.
    Mutliple crushes, oh yesh indeed.

I AM IN LOVE WITH PAW.

No, but really, I voted no. :v Never really had a crush on anyone, let alone a relationship. I am a cold bitch that way.

Do I love. Yes? No? It is a trap. It is curious, that I will say that I love a person in their presence and then feel inclined to say otherwise when afront a different audience. You might suspect (and I did) that I am lying to one of you, but I don't think it so. Not to my knowledge, at least. This poll, I feel inclined to say no. But that cannot be so. Do I love? Do I? Y...nnn... eeeeaaaa

I'll avoid this question at all costs. Yes, I'll say, I love. I love to the best of my ability, though I cannot guarantee it is enough.

I want to quote someone. Her words struck a chord with me, too true. Sometimes I agree with this, sometimes I disagree; at current I don't fully agree, but my thoughts are irrelevant. It is food for thought, regardless.

i agree with you on that point, i don't expect guys to pay for everything or anything for me. i am just stating that when the idea came around it wasn't considered sexist, it just was how things worked. so now that idea might be considered sexist but many people still believe in that way of doing thing because it is they way it has been happening for years. thats all i am trying to say. personally i feel kind of gulty when the guy pays for everything because he worked hard for that money and usually i can afford to pay for myself.

Yeah, I'm kinda in the same boat. I don't romantically love anyone right now, but I wouldn't have a problem with sharing feelings towards some girls I know.

For now though, I don't see myself being liked by anyone.

    But nah, really... XD
I really don't really know how I feel to be honest. I'm just enjoying the simpleness of being single. If I end up falling for someone and getting with them, I'll let you know then. But until then... yeah. lol

The amount of blatant lie in this post amuses me.

Yeah, I think I'm in love, but... well it's a very long and complicated thing that shouldn't be gotten into. Suffice to say that it's a hopeless endeavor.
