Are you Afraid of the Dark?

Please tell me at least a few people remember this awesome 90's show on Nick!


I used to love watching this.

 

I remember that!! It was quite cool actually XD My brother and I used to watch it XD​

 

Aww, I remember some of the stories, like the one with the nurse and a jail one.

 

lol, i used to love this show many moons ago. This was one of the shows all my brothers n' sister would watch frequently.

I don't think i ever found it scary, though. *biggest wuss right here* Would love to see it again for nostalgia. xD

 

I know, it wasnt that scary, but like maybe one was really creepy.

 

I remember it but I didn't think it was awesome, it was like Goosebumps told by ******ed popular kids.

 

I remember watching that at 4:00 PM right after getting home from school. Fantastic show. I still remember the finale, too.

I should watch me some AYAOTD now.

 

You know...I think for holloween they play them now, because I remember recently (meaning about a year ago) I was watching a few on TV

 

i remember this show, i used to watch it as a kid. i remember a story about a nurse who tried to kill a girl in the hospital but it turns out it was an accident and the girl wasn't wearing her bracelet that indicated that she was allergic to penicillin. i also remember the story about some red thing that kills people in swimming pools.

 

I remember the nurse one, the nurse was really creepy...though I remember the pool one a bit.

 

ya, i remember the girl running away and screaming "NO! I won't let you poison me!" i also remember that whenever it was a 2 part episode, it would rain in the middle of the story and the kids would run away.

 

I heard about it, but I never watched it.

 

Nostalgia trip right here. I only got into this series briefly before my buddy introduced me to Goosebumps then this series kinda became bland to me...or at least I believe that is my understanding of the events.

 

I adored this show so much xD me and my sis used to watch it every single day.

I always remember the one with the fox and the girl who used to ride horses, also the Prom Queen one.

I remember loads of them <3 was an amazing show.

Most definitely agree with this. What I meant by Goosebumps were the books, not the tv series that sucked.

 

Are you afraid of the dark was much better the goosebumps, But I remember them giving a movie of AYAOTD before it ended.

 

The only thing I can really remember about this show was the campfire introductions/endings, not the stories themselves. X3 But I'm pretty sure that whatever scary story the kid was sharing it'd creep me out. It was a long time ago tho, I don't even remember when NRK was showing it in Norway.

I remember Goosebumps far better tho, mostly because before I started reading the books my older sister was reading them first, and warned me that I was too young to read them and how scary it was. X3 Triggers the curiosity, no? I had a lot of fun reading the books for years, and if I could I would record some of the episodes on videos so that I could watch them whenever I wanted. And then came Fear Street, which really scared me as some of the characters actually ended up killed. Good times.. Maybe I'll look for a copy for old time's sake?

But yeah, it was a good memory for the 90's.

 

Yeah....I remember I was at my friend's house and I only saw like the intro...um...some girl had like some kind of shrine set up and...summoned...some....guy.....and she was trying to get out the door but it was locked for some reason or other. And that just scared me shitless.

 

Good times, good times...

AYAOTD was my favorite tv show as a child. Oh god, I would love to watch it again. xD

I wonder if you can buy it on dvd. That would be awesome. B|

 

OOOOH, i think i remember that one! was that the one where she had to draw a door on the wall using chalk or something? and then she tried to banish the demon but it didn't work?
