Are there people still playing the game??

Do you people still play kingdom hearts 1 and 2 in 2011?? if you do than that is awesome

Yes I still play it. It's a game I frequently go back to, it's probably my favourite game and I doubt that will ever change.

It is quite an old game now in comparison to the newer ones that have come out recently but KH2 is still my favourite.

 

KH I and II are classics. I've played each one through several times, and still continue to play them on occasion, but not as much as I used too. They'll always be two of my favorite games of all time, and will never get old or boring. The Kingdom Hearts series still is, and probably always will be my favorite game series of all time.

 

I replay KH1 something like once a year, maybe? Despite having unskippable cutscenes, I find it to be the most tolerable game to replay.

It's been quite a while since I replayed KH2 over from the beginning, though. Not that I don't like KH2, but it's just so looong, especially the awful 3-hour tutorial. They really should just have started the game with Sora waking up...

EDIT: Though the topic was replaying, whoops. Yeah, still play both. Mostly because codes from our lovely Code Vault give them tons of replay value.

 

Gameplay-wise i agree really, despite the Roxas vs Axel fight with dual keyblades. But..if they'd done that at that point in time the Roxas references wouldn't have made all that much sense..it woulda sucked lol

 

Well, since I only own a PS2 and DS, yeah I usually play KH2. At least it never gets old. Always look forward to the Axel fight and Sephiroth fight.

 

I don't have kh1 or 2 sadly. I've played both when my friend lent them to me. Why isn't anyone talking about COM? Thats the game that got me hooked on kh.

 

I got hooked by KH1, since my brother bought it. I only played a little of CoM, but playing on the GBA was not fun, I enjoy Re:CoM much better.

 

Are you kidding? Of course I still play the first Kingdom Hearts, it's only the best game in the series. The only thing is that I've never started it over after the first time I played it because I have a few unstable emotional/psychological issues with uh...the game itself.

But I do want to play it. Since it was the game that started it all, it would be nice to get to have that sense of nostalgia that it gives when you play KH2 or Days. Not to mention, I always thought the storyline for KH1 was the best (aside from BBS).

 

I have all the Kingdom Hearts games for the PS2 (KH, Re:CoM, and II), but I vary between games.

For example, I'll play one game over and over for a few months, then move onto another game and do the same thing.

Right now, it's Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits.

Considering I kind of grew up on it, it's hard to let go -- I just keep getting sucked back in.

At first, both games were always challenging for me, and I had repeated trouble with certain areas, which would always frustrate me. However, it eventually got easier, because I started to know what I was doing.

Ironically enough, it's now funny to see my butt getting kicked, which I let happen sometimes intentionally. Haha!

I still get frustrated sometimes when playing through them, but not like I did when I first played them.

 

yeah, of course i do. why wouldnt i? best game series ever.

you could do this: play the 3 hour tutorial, then, at the part you want to start at each time (eg, just before Sora wakes up or before the Roxas/Axel fight) save it. keep that save file permanently and start from there for each new game you want to play. just remember to save on a different file after or youll lose your starting place

 

I don't play them quite as religiously as I used to, but I'll crack 'em open every once in a while. I just have trouble remembering which file it was that I last played >.<

 

I play KH2 every now and then, after I beat the game, I wanted to 'change' somethings like well use Codes to have Party Members stay while in Drive, Max Drive and such, I even had Sora wield Way to the Dawn happily, gave a challenge.

 

Woah! many do still play the game, once I finished kh 1 I play It over and over again because its so fun. XD

 

I've played KH2 a few months ago. Lately, I've just been occupying myself with a few PS2 games recently. I haven't played the 1st one in years... don't know why.

 

If my PS2 were still plugged in, I probably would (posting here put me in the mood sometimes). I hardly get bored of killing **** in the Underworld Coliseum for an hour or two.

 

Not a lot, really.

I replayed KHII last month, but otherwise, no.\

I do think that KHI was better, but unskippable cutscenes are a bit of a turn-off.

 

I still play it from time to time.

Not much, but sometimes.
The cutscene issue is tedious and the controls can be a pain, but it was still the springboard for the series so I reminisce.

 

I play them quite a bit. I jump around though, I rarely do (or complete) an entire playthrough. Sometimes I tell myself I'll finally beat Re:CoM but that doesn't happen. :c

I do think there probably still are people picking them up, though. With there still be games being released, I'm sure some people want to know where it all started.
