Are any of the .hack games any good?

How good are they? Are they worth purchasing? I watched all of .hack//sign and I really like the anime (even though the ending was a little rushed), so should I get the games too? The games seem to have a good storyline, but is the gameplay any good?

Yes, they are I am a HUGE fan and own all released games so far. They have a story that is strong enough to be an anime series and the voice acting is deep enough to draw anyone into the game. The game play is different than any other rpg I have ever played, though it CAN get a bit repetitive after a while(but what game cant that be said for, right?) If you have a chance to pick up either series, do so, but make sure you play them in order (vol1 first of course)

I have Infection. I love it, Its just a bit hard.
