Site News Arcade Disabled

Just a heads up, I am disabling the arcade for now. Reason being I received an e-mail from vb.org that the arcade mod was quarantined for having a security exploit that could potentially make forum vulnerable to hacking. We will re-enable it once we are confident that a fix is provided for the mod, making it safe to continue using.

Oh my...Though I like the arcade, definitely disable it if that is the case. This sites already had its fair share of hacking done to it.

 

I agree with this. Though I actually could never play any of those games anyways. ​

 

Thats good, better safe than sorry. I don't think the arcade gets used that often anyways.

Well, if it is to prevent the site for hacking, it is for a good cause. Okay.

 

I am pretty sure it does. When I posted in the suggestion forms to bring the arcade back (shortly aftert the hacking.... Rather ironic...) the argument was made that alot of people do use the arcade.

But I guess for safty reasons, take it down till it is safe :/

Probably for about like five years now... though it was broken for probably the first year. It's not widely advertised or used.

 

It looks like a fix has been released.

 

Darn, they figured out my evil genius plan.

 

Oh thank God... I thought that it was being taken down for good.

I hope the fix is found quick. I don't want my efforts to go to waste..
