Does he have a relation to Kairi? His name in Latin does mean water after all.

Also it was kind of cool when he saved Terra from the Keyblades.

 

At the moment, the names may have some relation but it's still not known...but maybe the are

At the moment I am more inclined to think it is a coincidence a very big one sure enough^^ but I guess we will just have to wait to find out.

Aqua is totally a girl. Just look at her armor. Would a guy wear that?

 

I don't know, I've heard of gals that like boy stuff and I think I'll also go with coinsidence, not related to eachother at all, they I might have a feeling that Aqua is Kairi's Grandmother, since she know so much about light and stuff but I could be wrong.

p.s- Aqua seems like a girl name to me.

 

You would be surprised what S.E. makes their guy characters wear.

But Aqua is a girl. She has feminine features, no arguing with that. She is wearing girl armor, and well... would they have a guy with a girl's name. (This does NOT include Sora, since he technically has a girl's name.)

I have seen several girls with that name on some video games, and anime shows.

 

They should make him/her have longer hair, then would be able to see if it was a boy or girl.

 

You need a girl to have long hair to tell that they are a girl? I feel sorry for you people. You wouldn't be able to tell anyway, since Square Enix seems to make almost more then half of their guys with long hair.

I'm pretty sure, although I haven't played KHI in a while, that when you first get to Traverse Town there is an old man or someone that comes up to you and he's like "You look alot like him." and you, and also Sora, are like "Huh?" and the old guy says "Nevermind." and walks away. I thought he was talking about Sora looking like Leon or Riku, but he must be talking about Ven, huh? I'll have to dust off my KHI and see if I'm lieing and totally made that up, but I pretty strongly recall seeing that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong and you get the answer before me. =)

I thought Aqua was Riku when I first saw her. No lie. I saw her face and i was like DUDE! ITS RIKU!
Then i was reaaally confused...
My friend thought it was Riku, too, and I didn't tell her beforehand what I thought when I had first watched it. we just got to the part where she falls off the cliffy thing and then gets up and shes like: "Holy crap, what is Riku doing here?"

*shrugs*

I think people have so much trouble just because there are way too many other characters who are so ambiguous that its hard to judge one way or the other. I mean...anyone remember Kuja?
