Birth by Sleep Aqua- Princess of Heart?

Could Aqua be one of the Princesses of Heart? To be a Princess of Heart, you need a heart of pure light. In this trailer, when Terra says,"hearts of pure light" at 1:18 Aqua grabs her own heart. Is she a princess?
Some things to consider:

How can she erase Ven?
Why does she look like Kairi, a Princess of Heart?
Why is Maleficent after her?

Huh.. I see what you mean, and it would be very intresting if she was. To me though, it wasn't as if she was motioning towards her heart, but to hearts in general, thinking about how a heart could be made of pure light. Thats what I see, anyway. Often the characters in the series seem to hold their hearts when talking about them.

 

I really have to say I'm not sure. But I do have an opinion on it: I really hope she isnt a princess of heart.

In the kh series, the princesses of heart are always "damsels in distress" besides Kairi, who can BARELY fight, none of them do anything at all...

I'd rather Aqua not be a princess of heart. It would make her seem too weak, because the princesses of heart, despite the "immense amount of light they contain," have to have a 14 year old boy save all of them...

I'm not trying to be cynical, I'd just rather see a fighting girl rather than a flailing one.

In KH1 a lot of people said that there were seven,and in KH2 Mickey says which they are,and you also use it as a password to Ansem computer,and i doubt Ansem wouldn't know about a 8th princess,neither Mleficent,Ansem TSoD and Mickey.

True,but he never broke any rules.
The things he added were like,in the story of the game,were aways there,but just never mentioned,but since the characters of the game said there were 7 Princess,there are 7 princess,no more,no less.

But this is 10 years before kh1. In kh1 they stated there were only 7 princesses of heart...but they never said it was like that forever (unless I'm missing something).

Even though I'd hate it if she were a princess, maybe there were 8 princesses before kh1.

 

Yeah,but since the Door to the heart of all worlds only needed Seven and Ansem computer password only needed seven as well,i think there were always seven.

 

She does seem to have a pretty pure heart, but I don't believe that she is a princess of heart. Aqua may have just put her hand there just because you talk with your hands and such, not because she was a princess.

 

Then why is Maleficent after her? She always seems so interested in her. Thats her goal in the game, to get the Princesses of Heart.

I think its highly possible.

Obviously the princes arnt always.. those 7.. I mean.. Kairi is what 14 in kh? What about 7 princess before she was born.. before snow white.. before cinderella? I think then one dies, a new princess of heart is kinda chosen.. Maybe by birth.. or maybe just passing to a new owner.

Now before you shun me and say something about how thats dumb that a random person becomes suddenly so pure of heart. I'm not saying kairi didnt have as much of a pure heart as she did now.

As far as I can tell there isnt any place that said they had 100% absolutly no darkness whatsoever in there heart. They were constantly refered to be just the 'purest' meaning that when one falls the next 'purest' takes the persons place. Kinda like how the kingdom key was ment to go to riku but went to sora when riku turned to darkness, probebly because he was the next best choice.

It definatly establishes a connection with aqua/kairi there. It would be quite a plot twist. And there isnt anything saying no..

 

All the princeses are like that,no darkness at all.

I heard it a lot of time in KH1,and i think Yen Sid said that,as well as Ansem in his reports,in KH1 or 2,most likely 1.

I honestly have no idea. She could be a princess of heart but I really am not sure. Although, I do think she has a pure heart.
