If I needed the internet I would so use AOL.

AOL must be desperate to get people to have this promotional offer. It's a student's dream promo deal. <>

 

Holy F*** i'm gonna get internet on my laptop for christmas :3

But I would get it. After getting the ps3 and ****, cancel my account. Get something better =\

 

...wouldn't getting AOL remove the entire purpose of having a laptop: being able to take it places...you'd be tethered to a wired connection, so you'd always have to have your Laptop where your router is

plus the deal locks you in a contract where you have to pay for the AOL service for 2 years

See: "sign a two-year contract for £19.99 a month", you can't cancel it, you have to use the service for 2 years

And the deal ends up costing you £500

 

Ahh. Forgot about that, my bad.

Moving to a different continent, new name, and a totally new identity works lawl.

 

Before this they were giving away free laptops...of course their desperate. XD

It may seem like a good deal but AOL sucks as an Internet provider.

 

AOL crashed my computer, I wouldn't dare go to them again, even for a PS3. Plus, you're much better off getting a provider like Sky for £5/£10 a month, and buying a PS3 yourself. So much cheaper.

 

AOL alters your computer programs and such and is made for internet dummies. If you don't know how to use the internet, I suppose it's a great way to teach people but eh, it so sucks. Also, it's over expensive for crummy dial-up which you can get for a lot cheaper if you are bound to have to use that. In the end I'd say it's not worth it even with a free console.

I live in Canada. but w/e I love my Rogers Home Internet // actually, not really since it always spazzes out on me.
