Well, I suppose most people find Lexaeus boring...but I know some large Lexy-fan-boys...they could like him because he's strong, and his silence is cool, but it all depends on opinion. I find him alright, but my fav character is Larxene still. XDD​

 

I think the reason for that is, firstly, Lexaeus looks very...Er...Intimidating.

XD Secondly, I don't think he has much of a personality in comparison with characters like Axel and Demyx. Granted, neither did Zexion, but at least he wasn't...

I think it is mainly because Lexeaus did not do much, we don't even know much about his hobbies. (Even if a lot haven't played CoM, they can tell that Marluxia likes flowers, Larxene likes being cruel, Vexen and his experiments... and Zexion with that book... which usually makes people think he likes reading. The only way we could know what Lexeaus liked doing was through the manga... in which we find out he likes manga and puzzle things.)

His personality was good, since the Organization did, in fact, need a strong and silent type. I believe it would've been better if he had more of a reputation as one of Ansem's apprentices. Ienzo was known for being the youngest, and Xehanort for being... well... found. The others don't have a special rep either, but well... those little things like being eldest (who is probably Even... just random thing I wanted to say...) can really make the character a bit more interesting.

Larxene is what we call eccentric. Axel and Demyx are as well. Other than the fact that she's a female, her personality just stands out, she's intriguing, and you get the exceptional feel of her character, and it attracts you for someone to deem her a favorite character, with explanations why. She had many scenes (don't know why the mentions that she wasn't), plus, was right-hand girl to Marluxia's plan. In CoM, that's a big role. We know she's a sadist, we know she's coquette, we know she has a ill-sense of humor, we know she's confident, arrogant, independent, we know this and that. Marluxia was the sole reason for the whole scheme, too sure of himself, etc.

Demxy was just out there all together, no needing the why. Axel is self-explainable, period.

Vexen was also another one (though he is also quite under appreciated, perhaps because many don't like him so much), his elderly crisis was amusing, his laugh was creepy, and we get a gist of who he is and what ticks him off, and how much of a mad scientis he was (and he created Repliku, one major part of Riku's story, that's gonna stand out). Zexion, despite being the second quietest, showed not only manipulation and cunning, but smarts, and his facial expressions were varied along, and exuded persona. Even Xigbar has his fans because he was quirky and his character was amusing.

Lexaeus?....Lexaeus was just...there. He was silent, only talked when needed to, and just...that's it. Even when fighting Riku, I never got much except that he's silent. And. Well. He's silent. Maybe even smart, I guess, as I also can agree with. I know he was suppose to be the sturdy, buffy, quiet guy, but more scenes could've been spared for him, not just constant...seriousness. I swear his expression never changed, he was just always:

Saïx may have been cold and calculated, but at least he did something, and we got the way he truly is, especially when he faded. What Lexaeus needed was more depth. He just didn't have it. Ask yourself, what do you like about Lexaeus?

Of course, there's also the fangirls. Looks are probably the main part on fandom popularity, and it seems Lexaeus doesn't fit in that spectrum with the rest.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily call it stupid (or eat you alive)... but it's true that there are more fans for that group. Well, not entirely sure about the Zexion part but anyway... What I think are the reasons people like these characters (looks not included since I'm sure people think it will apply to all four...)

Axel - He has a very large role in the games, plus his personality is interesting. Is there really anything more to say?
Demyx - People like him since he's different from the rest of the Organization (at least that's what I think), how so? Simple, his dislike of fighting and he's a musician. Two aspects not seen in other members.
Roxas - Like Axel, he has a large role, plus he's a special Nobody. There's also his history... which made a lot of people pity him or something like that...
Zexion - I'm not sure why he ended up more popular than most CoM Org. XIII people, but perhaps it is his ability and way of talking??

Well, I personally do not mind appearance when it comes to liking a character, but since I believe you are talking about how his looks affects the fanbase... yes, it is quite correct. Fanbases go after the good looks, and interesting personalities... << Wait, that didn't come out right. I think it's just the looks. Imagine, a good looking strong and silent teen. Would he have fangirls then? Yes.

In my honest opinion, there is nothing boring about an Earth element. o_o Earthquakes anyone? Oh, and about the weapon, I actually found the tomahawk plain but cool... and I doubt I'm the only one who thought that...

I believe it has already been mentioned before but I would just like to add and agree with a something.
THE LOOKS!
This I am certain this does not apply to all however most fans I have personaly spoken to, when asked for who their fav character is and reasons for their choice they respond with a character and say because 'they are hot/sexy/cute etc.'
Also because, again been mentioned on several occasions, he is only featured in CoM (Yes I know Zexion is only in the game too, but again the looks come into play) and on GBA in all honesty the graphics are bad, and KHII:FM+ CoM was only released in Japan causing many people great difficalty in buying the game so they could only read/watch clips about it.
But still my biggest reason is the looks, people are just plain atraccted to them.

Lexeaus is The "Silent" Hero..he has no actual personality that can appeal to fans,so not many people care about him.

 

Wrong... he DOES have a personality... the strong, calm, QUIET type...

 

all the members from Riku's side of the story play a much bigger roll in RE:CoM

but Lexy is very hard to beat in KH2FM,... But I've always liked that character (as well as Larxene)

Lexy and Larxene have the least amount of lines in CoM, I think...

that, and he also is colorful!

and Vexy is the least likable character after seeing him in RE:CoM... geez... that guy is ugly

 

larxene only has a few lines cause she was killed first lol ,and lex only speaks a few lines because he dosen't like to talk Aka the silent hero also hes not very colorful hes about as colorful as a moncormo picture also i though vexen was a girl when i first saw him and exscesaly when fighting because he makes that girl like scream

The thing is that Lexeus isn't an intrigal part of KH or cool.Zexion,Axel and Roxas are apart of the story and cooland Demyx is just cooler than the rest.Lexeus not so much.

 

I never got to play the game with Lexaeus (sp?) and Zexion. But I looked them up so I learned about their role and stuff. I pity Lexaeus, didn't get a chance at all. Zexion lazy in a way, but also very smart. But I like all the characters nevertheless, yeah fangirls are all over Axel, Demyx, Zexion, Xemnas. But, I wander one day I like Xigbar then Saix then another member and it just does on and on. So, I like them all. Just some days I like more then others. I really should get the game, but i don't know. If they got a manga for it though, I'll just read that instead of playing the game. =)

 

You dont see too many Lexaeus fangirls do ya? =] (I wanna call him Lexus really bad.) He's too...Brute-ish.

 

this makes me sad that hardly anyone has love of lexaeus.he is my 3rd fav organization person.the reason i like him so much is because of his i guess lack of personality.his silence is what makes him cool.
