My main problem is that I don't know anything about torrents, or how to open them. Does anyone know what type of program can open up a torrent?

Firstly this is illegal, because well...for the most part we know what it is going to be used for.
But assuming that you are using it for good purposes. I doubt.
utorrent, azures, transmission, and bitlord. But beware, more people are doing trojans

I'm not downloading music, movies, t.v shows, or any other **** like that. As far as I know, I'm not down loading anything illegal. I'll be sure to check up on it, though. And thanks.

It's fine if you're not doing anything illegal... I think.

But use uTorrent. It's the best one.

Porn. That was a joke, btw. Seriously, I'm just downloading some fan-made stuff from this guys fan art website. I'm pretty sure that it's legal, 'cause he made most of the art. No idea why he putthem all in a torrent file, though.

While uTorrent may be the smallest, and operates using the least RAM, you might want to also try FlashGet, as it doubles as a download manager.

    I use BitComet.

I dont know any advantages OR disadvantages for that except for the fact that when I was download kh clips off this website,it somehow goes up to 1 or 2% then back down to zero.So just a warning in advance if you ever decided to use that torrent manager.
