Anyone here who doesn't like SoKai?

I already explained why I won't accept the pairing

 

I don't hate SoKai per se, I just hate the way that Square has dealt with it. They have potential, and it's clear that they're to be the canon ship of Kingdom Hearts, but their reunion in KHII was just... even Namixas had more intimate moments than SoKai.

I also happen to support RiKai to an extent; he did his best to save her in KHI (doing just as much, if not more than Sora), even going so far as to betray his best friend to get her heart back, but she doesn't think too much of it in the long run. Riku is more of a big brother to her than a lover, and he'll always be there to protect both her and Sora, no matter what.

I don't ship SoKai. Then again, I don't ship anyone with anybody in the Kingdom Hearts series

except for Xehanort/KingdomHearts

 

The first time I played Kingdom Hearts way back when, I really felt something between them. When he sacrificed himself for her, when they were torn apart at the end...It was all very heartfelt.

But from that point forward, I wasn't feeling the love.

I remember hoping for some beautiful reunion between them in KH2, but it felt so distant and lacked intimacy.

I still have expectations for KH3 though. I would like for him to give her the paopufruit finally.

To answer the question, no, I don't hate SoKai.
I wasn't satisfied by the way they interacted after the first game though.
I'm crossing my fingers for some great SoKai moments in KH3...

 

Well, Sora is an idiot and Kairi is good only to be kidnapped. Their nobodies are a lot better than them. Anyway in the first game Sora was better because he wasn't so stupid and childish like in the other games.
