Anyone here like Yaoi?

Oh yaoi. A type of anime my friends dont understand why I like it because.....

Why do I like yaoi and not yuri because Im a guy? Well.....
I cant take Yuri seriously. It would be all like "Oh she left her, who cares?" but when its yaoi I would be in tears screaming "DONT GO!!!!!!!!" pretty much. lol
Anyway, what yaoi do you guys and girls enjoy watching?

-Loveless (I dont know why but maybe for the battle scenes)
-Sekaiichi Hatsukoi (season 2 came out this week btw)
-Junjou Romantica
-Togainu no Chi (True Blood)
-Uraboku
-Hybrid Child

What is my favorite yaoi paring you might ask? I dont like the anime that much anymore but I do like Iruka-X-Kakashi from Naruto because it makes so much sense because Kakashi's ending in Ulitmate Ninja 1 for PS2 there is a little yaoi scene if you use your brain lol.

Yaoi <3 lol, I've been linked to this thread three times today. . .
Currently watching Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi and thinking about watching Marginal Prince, watched Junjou Romantic. I read alot of dōjinshi's and fanfics though. Oh some of the dojinshi's of Kingdom Hearts that I've read, never looking at Kingdom Hearts the same way again :B

Favourite yaoi paring is Akihiko and Misaki because Misaki is tsundere, it's adorable.

Yuri is pretty cool too though.
I might/might add more later.

 

I stay away from doujins unless its for a pairing I love.
I would like to see a Yandere yaoi because it hasn't been done before if Im not mistaken.

 

It hasn't, I think. I would just love it to pieces if they did make one though.

Truth be told, I'm straight and I still read/watch yaoi stuff. I like it for the story and character design, and before anyone says. "That's what they all say", I would like to say "Who gives a damn"?

Guys can be straight and like yaoi as much as girls can like yuri. It's all this sexist BS, and it's everywhere.

 

Not to sound homosexual , but some Yaoi parings are fine , but i'm not that much in favour of Yaoi. but if you like it , good for you i guess xD

I'm OK with other people liking Yaoi, as long as you're not shoving it directly into my face. I personally prefer Yuri, but that's just me.

I agree, same goes for people who shove religion on peoples face.

 

I support certain pairings, but I hate yaoi for the sake of yaoi. For example, a series specifically for the purpose of having guy/guy relationships is just silly in my opinion. I support yaoi, but only if it could really work in the context of a series that is not already about yaoi.

 

Meh. I quite obviously support boy/boy pairings, and I enjoy romances, however yaoi has never been a real consideration for me, simply because I feel a genre should'nt be made for one type of romance. It's still romance, but, eh.

However, I have read Loveless simply due to reccomedation, and enjoyed it.

 

This. I don't like watching anime that's just about yaoi because they want anime about yaoi. Some pairings, however, (Looking at you Roxas/Axel) just work better than straight ones.

 

I think the first yaoi I ever watched was Gravitation, which I enjoyed.
I don't watch it very often. I suppose it's more like I'll watch an anime for an anime, and if it happens to be yaoi, then awesome but I don't really look for yaoi.

But seriously, I do like it. I, like Jayn, enjoyed Gravitation, and I'm pretty sure it was also my first yaoi that I watched. I could be mistaken. Anyway, I like to read yaoi doujinshis and make it a point to look for them when I'm interested, I've been on /y/ quite often [lol].

I am not really a Yaoi fan. Just never my thing, I guess.

 

It really depends for me. I don't have any big problems with two male characters making out, but as far as sex (in manga/anime cases, hentai) goes... Not so much. That's simply because of preference though. I'm straight, and even though I have no problems with a male, homosexual relationship, as far as what I want to see, it's not two men making love. I'd rather see two women o.o

 

I'm ok with yaoi, yuri, het... But I don't like everything. A manga/anime/game/whatever needs to have a good story first, else I'll hate it even if there's yaoi or yuri or I dunno what.

I'm always looking for new anime's or yaoi couples. My first anime was Gravitation and I didn't know what yaoi was until my friend told me what it was and suggested that I watch another yaoi called Papa to Kiss in the Dark. After that, I fell in love with yaoi. I try to get my fix at least every other day
But yaoi is only good when the couple actually make sense. Like how everyone says that Sora and Riku go together. That's how good the couple should be. It can't be an awkward couple like...Sora and Vanitas. That's just plain weird >< But I'm a weird person, so sometimes I like the weird side of yaoi (Yes, there's a weird side) but nothing too weird.

All and all, I'm a huge fangirl of yaoi XD
