Kingdom Hearts III Anyone got any ideas on new keyblades?

I follow this wicked Facebook page about KH3, but I have yet to see any ideas on new keyblades! Just wanting to see some of the ideas this community can put in.

 

Well, I've always had this idea for a keyblade but I'm not sure which world it'd be picked up in. It's a single or dual wield depending on the option you select. For single wield it is a combination of dark and light with a design similar to Oblivion. Dual wield is basically two keyblades with the same design except one is pure dark and the other pure light. Would probably be obtained at a high level and it would have stats to match.

I just have this thing with balance and that, for me, would be the ultimate keyblade.

I have always wanted to see a double sided keyblade- like the handle in the middle and a key coming out of each side, I always thought it could be quite interesting.

I do really like the design of the X-blade and would love it if you got to wield it in KH3 (doubt you would be able to because the whole point of BBS was to stop it forging unless a Xehanort and person of pure light join together to make it) or just a keyblade with that similar style would be cool : D

 

Ienzo, I have had a similar thought since BBS, after I watched how Ven held his Keyblade. It just sparked a thought of interest! Thanks for the feedback bros/brahs!

i think it would be kinda cool to see some classics return as hidden bonuses or something.

 

That's the hope. A Heil Hitler mini game cold be good too

 

A keyblade were it's ability shoots lasers, or fires, or some kind of effect.

 

Well that is awesome! I wonder why they got rid of it.

This would be cool! If I am not mistaken, I swear in one of the current KH3 trailers there's a shot of Sora turning his keyblade into two guns (similar to Xigbar's) and shooting which I think would be awesome. I would definitely like to see some more keyblade morphing- like Ven, Terra and Aqua who morph their's into ships to travel around on or the Lingering Sentiment does to make it bigger etc. I have always thought that is such an awesome thing that I would love to be able to do.

 

This is what gets me excited. I really hope they do this as one of the keyblades. ;A; It would mean a lot if they kept Oblivion the same. And of course all the keyblades fro! Different worlds are all new remodels but I hope they stick a few you had to work for to obtain and this being one of them.

A keyblade based on Squall's Gunblade.

The gunblade is one of my all time favourite weapons and I can already see Sora switching between melee and long range during a battle.

 

I could go for that. It'd be kinda cool if you combined it with magic attacks to make it actually fire like a gun.

 

That's kinda the problem. Keyblades already shoot magic bullets. What would make a gunblade any difference, besides the design?

 

Maybe it would boost the effectiveness of fire shots? Idk.

 

He might have a different attack animation while using magic and also offensive spells could gain an attack boost. I think most people, including me, would use it for aesthetic reasons anyway.

There's always a number of useless Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts games so why can't they add one more. lol

 

Well the gunblade doesn't actually LOOK noticeably different in terms of combat. Squall's attacks are just regular sword slashes but with explosions.
Aesthetically, seeing a keyblade look like a gunblade could be cool, but isn't that basically what the keyblades you get from Leon are?
