Anyone good with Ciphers?

I'm not, its a substitution one, every letter it replaced with a symbol below, there is no clue or starting letter, gotta go from what you've got.

I'm stuck and apparently bad at this.

 

You should be able to construct the one, two and three letter words as base assumptions and then trial and error it from there.

May I ask, how you managed to get this?

I'm not very good with ciphers, and I've always wondered how someone manages to figure one out.

 

When in doubt, t is the most used letter. Find all of the three and two letter words. If all or most of them start with the same letter, that is probably t. Work from there. Three letter words starting with t make "the". Two letter words starting with t make "to". You have four letters straight off.

 

Um I just googled it lol.

Here's the guide I got it from. CTRL+F ILE DE LA CITE and you'll find a chart that can crack it, and the message.

I wouldnt have even minded if you cracked it with some super brain, but you used a guide, for shame.

 

He would have Google'd it himself; it would have saved him time. He's a big boy and knows how to find this stuff.

I'm lazy when it comes to puzzles, but the chart on the actual guide might help you to figure out how it was cracked? My bad though, didn't mean to ruin it for you.
