Kingdom Hearts Anyone else thought the duel against Riku on Destiny Islands was annoying?

I voted "Riku's counterkick which deals heavy damage" First times I played it, that really was annoying. Now, it is easy to beat him. I know what to do when he falls on his back, so he can't hit me with that counter anymore :)

 

He wasn't that hard. It wasn't fair that you could fall off of the island though. And LOSE because of it. ​

I enjoyed it, i always got to level 8 before i left destiny islands and parrying him was an easy way to do it.

 

I've never been able to beat him ._.
Not once. Admittedly I've never tried all that hard to but he just p*ssed me off so much. ><

I loved racing him though, once I got the hang of it I never lost. I loved being able to leave the Island with a score like Riku: 0 Sora: 20 XD

 

I love that duel. I always get real competitive but it's actually very easy to beat him. The only irritating part is falling off the island...and the fact that it's absolutely impossible to knock Riku off.

 

dun hate on teh Riku battle. he gives u xp. respect dat sheet.

 

Didn't really think it was annoying. I liked the challenge. He was easy after a while though.

 

I thought it was the kickback that was annoying. I always would see it coming but for reason I wouldn't move out of the way.

 

It was that damn foot race that I hated because out of all the times I played that game, I only beat him once.

 

his taunts!!! i had to tell him to shut up i dont know how many times!!! the platform was annoying too. then i finally kicked his butt!!!! riku's such a jerk -_-

 

Yeah, that really sucked. But the trees and the small platform was what got me.

 

The fight itself was not that hard in my oppinion.

The biggest thing that got in my way in the fight in my oppinion was falling off the platform. I sometimes almost got him beat, and then fell off the platform. The fight itself was fun, though in my oppinion.

 

I personally hated the platform, when i tried to dodge Riku's predictable jump kick (from ground) i almost always go near the edge, and then he hits me -.- but it's kinda funny in the begginning when he jumps behind you.. i always wonder what he wants back there XD

 

nope i actually thought it was quite useful actually. i just fought him for the potions.
