Kingdom Hearts II Anyone else thot Xaldin battle was a joke?

i thot it was one of the easiest battles in the game becuz of that jump command that takes almost half of his HP. i even fought him w/o that and i still beat him so easily. i even cheated to make HIM stronger and i still beat him easily. and i even gave him a few free hits just to see if he could make a comeback but he didn't. i don't see why everyone says he was hard.

 

My brother kept on dying when he battled him. But I sat down and beat him on my first try.

 

What level were you at when you beat him? 'Cause I was at level 30 something and it was pretty hard. But I still beat him.

 

People think he's hard because they don't realize:

When he disappears to do those 5 hit thingys where the lances come down at you out of now where, you jump and mash triangle, giving you about 1-4 jumps. Rinse, repeat, and own.

 

Me too but it was my sister!

 

And it was the same with Sephiroth too. ^^

 

i was level 28 the first time i got there. i beat him on the first try, it was a joke, i thot he would be hard

 

He was very easy, if I must say so myself.

He's only hard when you aren't using the reaction commands. :/

 

I seem to also get lucky when I go against him really. You usually gets me in a corner and that is not were you want to be. And usually I am around level 50 when I go against him. :P Maybe I just suck at playing this game. But I never have died though when I went against him which is pretty good at least I think so.

 

He was a pain in the start but once you really nail him with the Jump reaction command the battle is a lot easier. Overall he was pretty easy.

 

i picked up on his pattern in about 2 minutes. WTH was square thinking when they made this fight.

the first time I tried, Micky got to save me three times in one fight
and i was so nervous
but after that, i get used to his pattern

 

well...i thot mickey was unnessacary thoroughout the game but i died on purpose a few times cuz i wanted u use him

 

Eh, Xaldin is easy if you use the reaction commands and pay attention to what he does.

His pattern of attacks get way too predictable though.

 

yeah, i had mickey called in a few times as well... I felt ashamed though, when he did... >_< I wonder why. Psh, and when did a suped up mouse have more skill... keh.
