ditto.. i love cosplay, it's hilarious.

 

I don't really have an opinion on the matter. I'd never do it, personally, but different strokes for different folks.

Bad cosplay are good for a laugh I guess, though a lot of the time they're so bad they're not even good for that.

 

I don't mind it. The way I see it, it's a hobby. And it's better than doing something that could be destructive, like drugs or alcohol.

EDIT: Wait. I forgot about Sailor Bubbas. Never mind. THAT'S upsetting.

 

I like to stop and stare at those kind of people. Like you said, once in a while is fine but that's just kinda creepy. But hey, it's their time, it's their life.

 

It's the same as somebody being sick of something you have a passion for. What it comes down to is the fact that work hard and commit to making great costumes. The fact that you made this thread would probably be highly offensive to cosplayers. And really who are you to judge what people you don't know do with spare time? You go to KHV which isn't much better. xD

 

I have nothing against them on a personal level, i just find it hateful when i'm looking for a certain video/picture and all i keep seeing is them and i know the picture/video exists

 

People like to have fun in their own ways. For some dressing up like anime characters is it. You can't really stop them from doing this. But being bored doesnt really mean you have to do something completely ******ed [even though that's what some of us may do]. No need to spoil anyone's fun. Yes its sometimes annoying to watch, but can be amusing aswell.

 

To all to be honest about what other people do in their spare time, I envy them to have the guts, creativity and time to do such acts. There is nothing wrong with it and people shouldn't be annoyed by what others do especially if it doesn't effect you.

 

i am kinda jealous that they can do it in their spare time, because whatever time that i don't spend at school or with friends goes to this site......XD

You know, I just noticed something about that bottom picture... that guy's blocking wrong. Thanks to the endless hours of documentaries and fantasy books I've read, if you block with the blade of a sword like that, after 5 minutes, it's gonna be too notched to fight with.

Yes, I'm a nerd. I have actually practiced with real (blunt) swords before, and I always make sure not to make that mistake, cause it costs a ton to repair.

NOTE: When I say I practice with swords, I don't dress up as an anime character and try things that are physically impossible. I do things that are actually useful (or would be, if anyone still used swords... :D). It's pretty much the only exercise I get.

 

Ya, who uses swords anymore.....now, people are using guns, bombs, and Atomic Weapons.......XD

But then again, my cosplays are for things like Megacon, I only wear mine in my free time to check it still fits or if it needs repairing. But yes, people who get it wrong tend to bother me, or if it just doesn't work and you just want to rip the cosplay off of them...

 

Well, you never know what might come in handy in a post-nuclear war world, or a post-ecologic disaster world... :D

Besides, it's good exercise.

Probably... I cosplay as Sora, L and Light, as you see, I'm a cross-dresser XD

...He hasn't said anything against it... :sweat: I'm a tomboy, so dressing in male cosplays is my job, though I do have my girly aspects too and I cosplay as Naminé ^^

I've been Roxas once, but then I couldn't be bothered with him XD At the moment, I'm waiting for my Sora cosplay to return from America with my new sizes ^^
