Any Tips?

    Okay, some of you know that I train karate.
    And that I will try getting a new higher degree soon.
    There for I wondered if anyone had some training tips for me?
    I would really appriciate tips about how to incrase your speed.
    I need to do that.

    Anyone got something, even the tiniest thing helps (:

    i dunno about training in karate but i use to make training programs for all different aspects of fitness for my PE class in school. I dunno if that would help?

    Yeah, Tanks for the tip (;
    I need to train all kinds of stuff & I am already doing some of the stuff I do in my PE classes.
    But I though of some special methods if anybody knows some xD

    I wan't to get higher speed,now that I have to fight against people that's way older than me.

    ah i didn't suggest any tips yet... but i'm sure i could think of some.

    I suppose you could always try & increase your general fitness level by, running, sprinting & lifting light weights.

    But your i'm taking it you would be doin' footwork exercises.

    Well, I do run/jog every week. But I'll start to sprint to (: and try out some weights I have done some of them before xD.

    i wouldn't recommend big weight's, you wouldn't want to bulk up. I usually use light weights & do a couple of reps a day.

    Okay, sounds fun ~~ (:
    But I need some other tips to, they can be unusual to n_n
    But when I say faster /more speed I mean like in a fight how to move around faster and attack faster.

    Well what i use to do for Badminton to work on my footwork, cause footwork is really important in badminton, i would do ,say maybe:
    A normal jog across the hall & back, then perhaps side steps to the other side & back. Then maybe cris crossing to the oppisite side & back. Perhaps doin' it backwards, just try doin' various movements with your feet but you got to be doin' it at speed. Maybe not fast at first but you would want to progress.

    This may sound a bit weird but i use to use wrist weights & exercise with them. & when i took them off my arms felt lighter.

    It's kinda hard as i have no experience in karate, i'm just trying to think of things from the top of my head. You should maybe ask your trainer for some tips.

    And the wrist thingy does not sound that weird.
    It's good suggestions , yes I have asked some of them and we get some tips but I though that posting here I would maybe get some other tips to.
    And mental strenght is very important to, but I am pretty good at that xD.

    oh yeah i forgot about the mental side of it but it sounds like you've got that down. I hope some of this may help you.

    It's okay (; I don't need help with the mental part, I am pretty good at it, yes and I actually got lots of credit because of that yesterday *pretty proud xD*.

    Yeah, it helps pretty much I just need simple tips to see if anyone have different training methods than me so maybe I can use some of them ^^
