Any rituals you guys do when watching a show?

My typical Saturday evening goes:

• 8/9 PM: Pre-Toonami nap which generally lasts until between 10:30 and 11:30, though sometimes I wake up between 12:45 and 1:00, disrupting the next part of my routine.
• When I Wake Up: Watch television in my bedroom until...
• The Beginning of Naruto's Commercial Break: Go downstairs and begin preparing pizza rolls. They generally take 15 minutes to prepare and I like to be with them and in my chair in front of the living room TV by the end of One Piece's opening. I have only accomplished this perfectly once. I also prepare a drink during this time, usually juice or a soda. Until last week, I would also let my dog out and prepare the kitchen for him during this time as well, then have him sit with me with his diaper off until I go back to my room for IGPX, at which point I would place him in the kitchen. Unfortunately, I won't be worrying about this from now on.
• Beginning of Soul Eater/Done Eating Pizza Rolls (Whichever comes later): Scoop ice cream into bowl, eat the pain away.
• Beginning of Sword Art Online: More ice cream.
• End of SAO: Pop popcorn, clean up downstairs, move back to bedroom.
• IGPX: Use computer and eat popcorn while occasionally glancing at IGPX.
• Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Continue browsing internet.
• Big O: Go to bed and watch from there or stay on the computer while sometimes glancing at the TV. Continue until too tired to stay up or Inuyasha comes on.
• Inuyasha: Flip to Nick@Nite for Full House

 

I'd curl up with a blanket with a cat on my lap while watching TRON:Uprising. And on the HiDef tv in the living room because dat animation.
I liveblogged Korra on Tumblr.

Anything else I like to have something to drink and maybe something to nibble on.

 

When I watch anime or Korra, I look up R34 afterwards enjoy something sweat and cold to drink, and a snack of chips or something if I'm lucky.

And when I watch 300, I'm shirtless.

 

I will only watch the last episode of Attack on titan with chips, soda and while i am home alone. not debatable.

 

One cannot watch Star Trek Next Gen without TEA, EARL GREY, HOT.

Also my senior year of high school, I used to get home from school, make pancakes, and watch Spongebob. Wouldn't even eat them with syrup; they became somewhat of a finger food for me. Senior year was kinda rough and I think that helped me feel better. Or something.

 

Absolutely! What we watchin'? Should we invite Dusty?

 

In stead of asking whether the other wants to watch Star Trek TOS, me and my brother will yell out "Ready to Boldly Go?!" Adding "motherf*cker" is optional. If I'm watching tv-shows, I prefer to have a hot drink (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, occasionally apple cider), but if I'm watching a movie I have to have a soda, or at least something carbonated. Preferably with popcorn or chips. And if I really want to turn my brain off while watching something of questionable quality I'll add something stronger to my drink.
Also, I've taken to watching Achievement Hunter's Let's Build in Minecraft to help me fall asleep. Blockbuster Buster is another source of calmingness (that's totally a word, just fyi), or if I need to go podcast route when I don't have internet, Indoor Kids or the Star Wars Book Report have proven to be helpful.

 

I think you eat more in this time frame than I eat the whole day >O!

Rituals? I slit my finger and draw an intricate Aramaic mysticism circle on the floor of my darkened room while lighting candles and praying to the great god Huitzilopochtli for a bountiful harvest with a daguerreotype print of Nyarlathotep hanging from my wall before watching any television show.
