Any rituals you guys do when watching a show?

I noticed that I'd always be drinking coffee when watching Attack on Titan, so it has become a thing for me now with the series.

Also, whenever I'd watch Cyborg 009 on Cartoon Network, I would always make myself some popcorn and pour some hot sauce on it. **** made for some fond memories of Cyborg 009


So you guys got any to share so that I won't feel like Im the only crazy person on here?

Always have a sandwich and milk while watching Doctor Who at night. Such as right now.

 

I always fap when I'm watching Game of Thrones.

 

Goat sacrifice when watching Doctor Who, bathe in chicken blood when watching the Walking Dead, human sacrifice when watching anime, and Game of Thrones is of course poker night.

 

I have a ton of rituals that I don't even think about because I've been doing them for so long. The one that comes to mind is that, if I'm home during lunch, I have to watch American Dad while I'm eating.

 

I've made the tragic mistake of getting my mom and my sister involved in the shows I watch ( Doctor Who and Downton Abbey, mainly v: ), so I spend most of the show hushing them and then reciting the plot to them because they don't remember/get things.

I usually end up eating ice cream while I watch TV but I feel like calling it a ritual will encourage me to do it more.

Whenever I'm watching any show on Netflix after around 6PM, I have to have something sweet (whether that be cookies + milk or just a bag of jelly beans). It makes for some really anticlimactic moments in Breaking Bad when you see shit go down as you swallow a handful of MnM's

 

Most of mine involve food (for example, I like watching RoosterTeeth during lunch).
However, I always liked watching Tsuritama while it was raining.

 

Honest answer: Tea. I need tea.

Snacks are appreciated too.

Oh, and I'll always bring a DS (now 3DS).

 

I do alot of strange things before /while watching something. When I watch Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When you cry) I would make sure to have something in my hand so that I could avoid being figging while watching it.

Or whenever I make breakfast that's consist of eggs, I would eat it while watching a few episodes of Yu yu hakusho. Maybe a disk.

 

For this past season of Breaking Bad, I cry.

Just about this, I usually have hot tea and a snack to boot because I always watch my shows late at night when no one else is around so I don't have to be bothered, and then I bring my phone with me so that I can conveniently look up information on said shows and/or bitch to everyone about something/anything that happened, even if they don't care.​

 

Since the shows I usually watch air during convention season, I tend to do cosplay stuff like sew or paint or construct. I've always had a habit of gorging down all the food before the show/movie even begins, so food is never an option at my house lol.

 

Back when Young Justice and Korra were back to back (and the world was okay), I'd usually eat some form of breakfast and talk with someone about what was happening -- for YJ this was a friend from school and Korra was Wolfie, lol.

Nowadays, I've been eating dinner while watching the Korra episodes and I usually get a cookie or something quick to munch on while watching some other show online (Gravity Falls, Naruto, etc.)
