Any piano players?

The confusing part for me is the chords.

 

I used to play piano for a year or so... I think... or 2 years... though I think something happened to our piano teacher. Moved out of the country I think? Though... we didn't get another one.... we have a keyboard at home though. So when I've got nothing much to do I sometimes play >_<

My brother is much better though, he plays by ear too. He plays all his instruments by ear actually... but yeah ;p other words... I suck at piano >_> but I have fun playing the few songs I know ;D

Yea, same here. But it's kinda fun too...strangely.

Oh my God, Amaranth has SO MANY octave chords.
One part goes (this is all in the normal bass clef) :

B flat - B flat
A - A
F - F
D - D
E sharp - E sharp

Then there's two more parts that have that, except it's twice, and the second time the right hand has the same octaves, but higher. It sounds cool, but it kills my wrists if I haven't practiced in two or three days.

The absolute worst part are the notes to the lines that go, "Reaching, searching, for something untouched, Hearing voices of the Never-Fading calling..."
And the whole time, which is like...a page, the left hand is:
E - E
F - F
E - E
E - E
F - F
E - E
E - E
F - F
E- E
E - E
F - F
G - G
Repeat for about ten to fifteen measures. X_x;;
And there's a right hand to that, too, and the only hard part is the timing.
Eheh, I'm attracted to overly complicated songs. xDD

Another insane, shouldn't-be-humanly-possible song I've played is Phantom of the Opera.

i started to play piano this year i didn't take any lessons :3

but my mom is a pianest i told her to teach me at least how to read sheet music but she never has time
to :(

but i know how to play ffX-to zanerkand but i still didn't finish it yet

i played kh-dearly beloved
and ffx-2 etirnity memories of light waves but not that perfect yet

and if anyone can teach me something please do ^_^

 

I was playing "What I've Done" yesterday, and my dad came in my room.

He said, "I didn't know you could play 'Halloween'!"

 

Yeah, I've been playing the piano for about 5 years although I didn't start taking it seriously until last year so I'm still pretty bad. I have, however, improved more during the last six months than I had during the last 3 years before that. =P Now I practice daily and I'm improving fast. I used to be able to play Dearly Beloved from Kingdom Hearts, but I've forgotten how it goes now so the only tracks I can currently play are Organization XIII, Naminé, Celes's Theme, (FF VI) Fragments of Memories (FF VIII) and Terra (FF IX) and I'm planning to learn Loss of Me (FF IX) next. I can also play a whole bunch of trash (and some decent songs) just because my piano teacher wants me to.

 

i recently saw this movie called Agust Rush and the kid plays a BIG piano and makes really good music out of it
i never thounght that a piano could be so good

i like to play linking park numb it's so easy but a bit confusing at the right hand part :3

 

A lot of the rock/metal songs are fun to play. xD

The impossibe chords and notes are fun to figure out.
Like this morning, I started to write down notes for Dragonforce's "Through the Fire and Flames". 8D

 

I'm trying to learn how to play "Bring Me To Life" and "Love Song".

 

Oh, I have the sheets for "Bring Me to Life". I can try and scan it in sometime and send it to you if you're interested. :3
I think it was in the "Fallen" sheet music book...I'll have to check.

 

Yeah, one problem: I suck at reading music.

 

Ah...I could try teaching you. It's not that hard, once you get a basic understanding. :3
I think "Bring Me to Life" is a relatively easy song, and if you know how the song goes, it's easier to play.
