I rarely meet anyone who knows Muse. And for the ones who I met who like Muse, they only know one song (Like Plug-In Baby.) If there are any Muse fans at the site what's the first song that you heard from them? What is your favorite Muse song? And how did you discover Muse? To be honest, I first knew them when I watched their Neutron Star Collision music video... My favorite song from Muse is Knights of Cydonia.
I'm kinda surprised that you know so few people who have heard about them. Around 2009 after "The Resistance" came out they were moderately popular. But yeah, I shamefully only discovered them because of Guitar Hero 3, which had "Knights of Cydonia". My favorite song, however, is either "Hoodoo" or "Stockholm Syndrome".
I think my situation is more shameful because Neutron Star Collision was on one of the Twilight Saga movies.... May the walk of shame commence!
A good friend of mine had their albums, my sis has them too. My other sis and her hubby saw them live. I mainly know the album that had Plug In Baby (probably my favorite of theirs) and the singles they threw at TV after that. They' re right up here with Placebo, hardly underground (at least here). I also love that one, it was used quite efficiently in a French horror movie, Haute Tension (High Tension) :
I love Muse. The first song I had ever heard by them was Time is Running Out. My friend in high school played the Naruto AMV for me, below. I greatly dislike Naruto, but actually really enjoyed the AMV. Now I'm gonna spend the next house listening to Muse. K thx bye
I like this one. Spoiler .....and this one.... Spoiler .....and don't even get me started on this one... Spoiler ......but this would be my favorite (don't tell the others~) Spoiler They're an all-around great band. I'll admit I was starting to doubt at Resistance because most of the album wasn't my cup of tea, but 2nd Law totally threw me off all that. It was actually an old member of this site, Roxma, who got me into listening to them at first (though he probably doesn't know that). Since then they've become one of those bands I like to go back to when I can't find anything new to listen to.
