We all know that poetry comes from the soul but nothing inspires me to write poetry anymore. Back when my girlfriend was alive i would write at least 5 sonnets a day but when she died. nothing. i couldnt even write dark poetry. Writing poetry is my future and thats the only job i see myself doing so Any ideas for inspiration? The only thing i could come up with was go back to dating but im not sure i'm ready yet because her death was June 13th. lock this thread please. it got tripled because of this site's loading system.
I deleted the other two threads for you. The thing about inspiration is that you can't just sit somewhere and wait for it, nor can you ask someone for it. The best advice I can give you is to do something that evokes emotion in you. Remember some good times you had with your girlfriend, watch a movie that makes you happy/sad/whatever, or think of a person that you feel strongly about.
but thats the thing i havent felt anything since her funeral. All those memories are slowly fading away.
Look at life, look at the things surrounding you. With these numerous things in mind you can make it something you can build on. Reflect on these things through poetry.
Take your aspergers medicine if you want to feel emotion. Look at old photos. Jordan didnt burn all of them. I've got some here at work. I'll get the secretary to come and get you.
